Great camp hosts, great views, clean bathrooms, and occasional AT&T internet! What more could I ask for?

Too hot when weather in Fruita or Grand Junction is hot! There is little relief from heat at the few thousands of feet above the valley this campground is in. Very spartan. Little or no shade at most spots. The landscape is beautiful and Rim Rock Drive is spectacular!

Great campground to take our grandson. Very clean and quiet in spite of being almost full!

Beautiful campground. Very clean restrooms. I was in A loop. B loop has better views of the valley below. Highly recommend.

Campsites are nicely separated by low trees. It is reasonable that no fires are allowed; the trees look very flammable. Some sites such as #17 could be prone to flooding. The first come, first serve sites in the C-loop appeared to have nice tent pads and most were not occupied when we were there in early October. The main road is great for biking; there were many bikers on the road.

A very pleasant experience! Not generally my kind of camping as I prefer mountains, trees, streams and cool temperatures. Other than the high heat we found the area and campground to be a great experience. The scenic landscape was fascinating, the campsites adequate, the paved roads great, the flush toilets and running water near the campsites inspiring, and the camp host one of the best I've encountered. We had a nice spot and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Park Ranger and Camp Host were both great. Sites may be a bit tight for RV's of any size. Will need to level your trailer on most all sites.
