Everyone was very helpful! We couldn't spend much time there, and a ranger recommended making sure to walk out on Otto's trail, which was perfect. There is some space to park at Otto's trailhead, but we walked back from a larger parking lot.

What a gorgeous gem of a campground -- those sunset views! We needed a place to stop and camp on a roadtrip, and were grabbing coffee with a friend in Grand Junction, and she tipped us off to this spot. So so much better than parking the van somewhere in the city. Beautiful area and we saw 2 desert bighorn sheep on our drive down, early the next morning.

What a wonderful campground and place! The camp host was perfect, and it was so lovely to be surrounded by quiet, friendly, nature-loving people. The night sky program was wonderful, and the monument itself was spectacular. Camping here brought back joyous memories of camping here when I was little, and helped me to see there are still beautiful places and kind people in the world. It is one of my favorite places.

The Colorado National Monument and Saddlehorn campground exceeded our expectations! The campground restroom near us was immaculate, our loop was reasonably quiet and peaceful, and the geology of the Monument is stunningly beautiful. We couldn't really hike any of the trails since we had our dog with us (next time, though!), but even just driving the Rim Road was worth the visit.

Beautiful campground with fantastic camp sites. We had a great site for my tent. There were a lot of awesome hiking trails very close to the campground.

We enjoyed our trip to Saddlehorn Campground. The bathrooms were spotless, camp host was kind, the site was well maintained. We did have some fire ants on the site, but we avoided the anthill and didn't have any problems. Got quite windy at night in the tent and our site was a little bit on a slope which made sleeping a little more difficult at times. Really enjoyed the scenic drive through CO national monument, spent a day trip to Moab/Arches as well, we hiked in Devil's Canyon as well (use AllTrails). Thanks for a great trip!
