This is a nice little campground tucked slightly away from Sedona. the west side offered lovely views of the canyon walls. Campgrounds and vault toilets were clean! Camp hosts were nice. Sound really travels in this area, so be prepared for road noise and the occasional late-night noisy cackling camper groups. Ear plugs solved this issue for us, though its not that bad where its needed. The hosts are usually pretty good about addressing it and encourage you to reach out to them if it becomes problematic so they can remedy it. Overall, we enjoyed this campground very much and would return!

Site was clean. Pit toilets were clean. Limited options for washing dishes. There is signage to be bear aware but you are expected to wash dishes at your site.

The campground is in a beautiful setting nestled in Oak Creek Canyon north of Sedona. The camp hosts were all lovely, helpful, accommodating and positive. However the smell of the vault toilets permeates this campground. You cant really escape it. The hosts admitted this was a problem for the campground. Additionally it is very close to the major driving highway up the canyon and the traffic noise is very loud at all hours. Many of the sites are very close together with little privacy in between and not much can be done to deter big rigs from parking and generating all their noise. While the setting is beautiful and people are lovely we were highly disappointed with camping here.

On the evening of our arrival, we encountered a major problem - our tongue jack collapsed while we were lifting it up. We were unable to unhook our trailer from the truck hitch, which threatened to ruin our entire trip. Thankfully, Harry, our host, came to our rescue. He lent us his garage jack and even provided a jack stand so that we could make the journey to Flagstaff and purchase a new tongue jack.
Harry's kind gesture was a real lifesaver and saved us from what could have been a disastrous start to our trip. Without his help, we would have been in serious trouble. Harry deserves a five-star rating for going above and beyond to assist us in our time of need.

This campground is great! We liked that it was further from Sedonas main area because less traffic came by. It was clean and the campsites were all nicely spaced. Will definitely be back. Only thing I’d change is I wish it was a little further from main road. But we still loved it!

Camp hosts were friendly and helpful. Recently the number of walk up sites has been reduced. Reserve early. Campgrounds here is limited!
The bathrooms were just outhouses but they did not smell horrible like most we've experienced. The toilet paper was soft. :) We enjoyed playing in the creek. All of the staff that we talked to were super kind and friendly. We were there for 3 nights and enjoyed being there. The road was not far from the campground and some neighbors said it kept them up at night. Slide Rock was just a few miles away.
