The most urgent problem is the bathroom smell. You can say that smell was present in almost every area all day long. I dont understand why a campground located in such beautiful natural surroundings is left without proper bathroom maintenance. Because of this, I dont plan to visit this campground again. When I go to Sedona, Ill just use a nearby hotel. There are plenty of affordable and nice hotels.

We are avid campers and love the forest. Although the campground is beautiful, we did not like being so close to the highway. The sound of the traffic really kills the atmosphere. Otherwise the toilets are clean and we didnt have any problems with smells or odors. We hiked the Cook Stove trail nearby and it was beautiful! Quite an incline and I would not recommend to those who arent avid hikers.

The female host kept harassing the campers. Female host tried to accuse us for stealing toilet paper. There was no paper in the bathroom had to use our own. Left for a few hours and came back at night she entered our camp site just to check we were supposed to be there even though she took our license plate and make and model of car. When leaving she followed us out trying to say just checking tag.

Pristine campground in the pines, nestled along Oak Creek. Attentive campground hosts (they cracked down on exceptionally loud campers before they got out-of-hand--thank you!), clean pit toilets and the best water in Arizona. Very convenient base camp for Oak Creek Canyon hiking!

We love this campsite! We heard the water in the creek all night. There is a small trail behind the creek that runs the length of the campsite. The only downside is the proximity to the road.

It is very beautiful here, and very well kept. Both couples that are the camp ground keepers, were kind and amazing. totally recommend

Comfortable, roomy site (#22), unlike many others. No water, but available from the spring nearby. Helpful & friendly hosts.

I like this one better than the nearby and popular Cave Spring campground! (I've stayed at both.) My spot was nearer to the rock than the road, and I had a beautiful view of the rocks towering above. In comparison, I had no view of rocks from my site at Cave Spring and it was more packed (obviously, because it is more popular). The hosts were also very nice and friendly, whereas the hosts weren't as friendly at Cave Spring, acting more like grumpy guards than "hosts."

Great camp hosts, and a lovely, quiet campground with some great hiking trails. Creek has beaver activity so parts are bubbly and others are calm reflection pools. Hunt for wild grapes, hops, and plums from the original homesteaders. Fantastic blackberry picking too.

site 22. Great site with excellent views. We were able to park our 30 foot trailer. If you have parked a trailer you can do this spot. Just hug the right side and go past your site then back in. Make sure to get water before you park. Will be back again.

Lovely campground with a nice creek down below our campsite #22. The campsite was difficult to get to due to the road closed to >30' vehicles coming from Flagstaff. We were detoured through the city of Sedona with many traffic circles to navigate through the city. Inside the campground the road was tight and we had much difficulty getting our travel trailer situated into our campsite.

Beautiful and quiet location that is a nice get away from the crowds that come to Sedona on the weekends. The host at the campground was friendly and the sites were cleared and cleaned after each guest. I would absolutely recommend this campground to my family and friends.

Beautiful camp site. If you have a site next to the bathrooms you can REALLY smell it, but its not the worst thing in the world.

Nice campground in a beautiful area. Camphosts were very helpful. Road noise during the day but quieted down at night. Beautiful night sky because it was so dark and beautiful sunrise on the surrounding mountains. Moderate drive to Sedona, about 40 minutes with traffic.
