We love Manzanita. It's a small campground and it's in a great location. We always reserve our favorite site 6 months in advance. Because it's a small campground, tightly packed with only 20 or so sites , you can be at the mercy of your neighbors. If they are courteous, great. If they shout, snore or are discourteous, you're in trouble. Our first night there, a very loud group of young adults a few sites over whooped it up hollering into the wee hours, despite the posted 10pm-6am quiet hours, and no park host intervened. Great icy cold swimming holes in every direction. A couple of caveats: bring your own drinking water. The water from the spigots here is rusty colored and tastes terrible. The south exit is very tricky, a very steep driveway that goes right into oncoming traffic at the top.

The campsite had three big bins of refuse that appears to have been there for quite some time. Additionally, the vegetation made it difficult for a 9foot high sprinter to navigate. We also noted that the sites were shallow for parking and the amount of space for turning around was quite limited and accessing the highway was not done easily from a safety point of view.

Beautiful fall days in a lovely, friendly setting. The camp host was away while we were there, but substitute camp hosts kept us well stocked with firewood and had everything nice and tidy. Cory does an amazing job with upkeep of the actual campsites, raking around the tables and fire pits after people check out.We did have a fluffy skunk visit our campsite a couple times while we were there. Thankfully, neighboring dogs did not spook the skunk, and we left with a cute story to tell. Would return again. Since we had quite chilly mornings (even one with snow), we enjoyed our early mornings with lovely breakfasts at Indian Gardens Cafe just a couple minutes up the road.

We loved this campsite! It was so fun with our kids to be right by the river and also close easy access to Sedona! I would love if they had a shower here to stay longer but we paid for two nights came early day one to have the entire day and camped one night. It was so fun! Amenities are clean - lady who runs the camp is super nice and helpful.

Small campsite with a very nice location along the shore of the Oak Creek River. Good Hiking trails nearby with different levels of difficulty. The campground host assiting us on arrival was very friendly and helpful. Nearby Sedona was very crowded, especially at weekends..

Love love love this campground. Even though itโ€™s busy/crowded like most campgrounds, it is very quiet.

Relaxing in the cool creek pools and then warming up on the red rocks is divine! We love this site when in the Sedona area.

Fyi - lots of kids and families for those interested.

Near Sedona area hiking and other amenities. Clear, cool stream is great for swimming. Sites are packed in too tightly with almost no vegetation between. Vault toilets were an older design but clean for their age.

Small campground, and a bit closely-arranged, but excellent access to several wonderful and relaxing spots along the creek. Not much road noise. Great, easy trail to a popular swimming hole/cliff-jumping spot just south of campground. First time camping here, and it's a new fave. One caveat: the water from the camp spigots is rusty and smells like sulfur. Bring plenty of your own drinking water.

This campsite with a creek view was easy to access. The campsite attendant was friendly and made check in and buying wood a breeze. The sites are close together and its right off the highway but the sounds of the creek drown out the sounds. Clean bathrooms! Its .8 miles from slide rock making it an ideal location. Still snow in February, very lovely! We would come back year round

Peter, the camp host was great! He advised us where to go (the Oak Creek). We went (but it was icy, so we didn't go far, however), it just pointed us in a good direction to get us going and keep exploring.

Very nice campsite. I love how close the creek is to the camp ground and there was a mini hike close by. The nights were very calming and quiet (all you could hear was the water from the creek - so peaceful!). The hosts were nice as well! The camp ground had everything you need- bench/seating, fire pit, and charcoal grill.

It was great to be able to get a campsite in Sedona, especially here because the location is so convenient and right down the street from Slide Rock State Park. However, if I were to stay in Sedona again, I'd probably go with another campground, because this one seemed a bit crammed for me. The sites were very close together and didn't allow for a lot of the privacy and quiet that I go camping for. I'm happy that at least no one was camped on either side of me, but if that were not the case I wouldn't have liked it.

Weve been coming to camp at this beautiful Camp ground since I was a kid in all my years in visiting here the hosts have always been welcoming and polite. This year however our camp host was neither one of those. She neither welcomed us or was polite . From the moment we arrived I was pulling into my reserved Parking (which we reserved 6 months again). Before I could put my car in park she was asking if I had a reservation and for my last name, then she just drove away. The bathrooms were clean and the Campground was pretty quiet at night.
