Good location , excellent hiking nearby. Close to roadway, so a little noisy. Fresh running stream. I guess tents only also means small camper vans as half the lot was filled with them. Nice large sites clean and well kept.

Great small campground. Quiet and peaceful . The camp hosts were friendly and helpful too!

Nice stay at Manzanita campground in Oak Creek canyon. About 15 minutes drive from site to the center of Sedona (many hikes are available between campground and Sedona). Sterling pass hike is right next to the campground. Our site 11 was next to the creek which was quite nice. Fire pit is excellent and sites have a charocl grill as well. Good space at each site and sites were kept clean. Bathrooms are toilet only. Fresh water available. Campground located next to the road that runs thru canyon so some traffic noice but this largely ceases at night.

Camp host was amazing. Clean bathrooms and Sedona was a blast.

The camp host did not clean the restrooms daily. They were not kept up the way they used to be.

I know this was a tent campground, but I expected the parking spot to be part of the tent site. We had a camper van and were basically given a parking spot that was so small we couldnt even open the back doors. We ended up leaving and going to a nearby dispersed campsite because we couldnt stay at Manzanita. Some of the sites were good - just not 12-15.

Camp host was amazing. Very friendly and made it clear that if we needed anything to let her know. Site 15 info is a bit misleading as it does not state that you cannot park at your site. Parking for this site is about 75ft away on the blacktop. Basically you have a parking spot and then have to walk to your site. We were in a campervan and so ended up feeling like we stayed in a parking lot. The site next to us (14) was also a camper van and we were parked nose to tail. HOWEVER. This campground is in a great location and is very beautiful. I would just say that if you're wanting to park at your site, avoid sites 15,14,13 & 12. I believe you can park at all of the other sites. Enjoy!

Very good camp ground, easy to find. As it's close to the river, it's actually quite cold and shaded, so this can be both a pro and a con, depending on your season.

Small campground but each sites are specious and leveled. Plenty of trees provide shade. Very close to the 89A. Traffic noise was not issue because oak creeks constant water sounds. Clean and not smelly pit toilets.

The website description is VERY misleading. I booked a reservation believing there would be a parking space in the campsite and the parking space was along a wall. The space along the wall was not large enough for us to park our F150. When we approached the camp host trailer to see if we could get a refund, there was a sign that said "closed". We were there at 4pm on a Friday afternoon. If check-in is at 2pm on a Friday afternoon, WHY WOULD THE CAMP HOST be "closed" on such a busy 3-day weekend? You should clearly post photos of each space and the limited/restrictive parking. We ended up leaving the campground and spent the night in a designated primitive site, until finding another campground. You should refund us!

We Stayed in this campsite Since Thursday Nov/23-Nov/26. We stayed in campsite #14 for one day then we moved to campsite #15. This place is so pretty, the campsites are pretty big, enough space to fit more than one tent. We have a 12x14 tent and we still had a lot of space left. The host are very nice and accommodating. The most beautiful place is when you walk to the end where the creek runs, its so pretty and relaxing. Its also very close to the town and many beautiful hikes like Birthing cave, The devils bridge and Boynton Canyon, those are just some of the many hikes that are close by.

Great views but mediocre stay. We booked this campsite as it stated it was tent only and small sleep in vehicles (i.e. Campervan) which we had. We were assigned spot 15 which the parking is disconnected from the actual site. We had to walk through another site to access our fire ring and picnic table. Also, although this is a small campground there is a lot of traffic, primarily of people using the campground to access Oak Creek to take a bath. There was one site that had a number of different visitors all using what appeared to be a makeshift shower facility. These cars would drive in, park at the site, go into the tent, then leave after 20 minutes. The bathrooms were not very clean (although cleaners did arrive just as we were leaving). We were excited to stay here as it is recommended in many post on camping in or near Sedona, but sadly we will not be back.

Beautiful location. Right by the river. Good size camp site. Red rocks along the river makes for a spectacular sight. Swimming holes are inviting if you dare jump into cold water.

Beware, you can’t back your car on all sites. Flush toilets would be nice. But the porta potty style is very clean & well maintained.

Very kind campground hosts. Small campground with close together sites. Close to road so could hear traffic all night. Pit toilet bathrooms were recently serviced but the still unpleasant smell wafted over our campsite continuously. Difficult to access the busy road from the campground. Creek was lovely and had fish in it.

Such an amazing place! My family and I will definitely be back. We enjoyed waking up to the sounds of the creek and birds every morning. The cars can be a little noisy but for location and everything else offered at this camp ground, the cars are easy to tune out. Camp host were awesome and the place was very pet friendly. I used to come here with my grandparents 20 years ago and it was the same beautiful place I remember.

Great site (minus the rocky ground if you have cheap tent stakes), good basic accommodations, fantastic on-site staff.
