Excellent location between Flagstaff and Sedona. Beautiful views along the river. Small campsites with not much privacy. Drinking water and pit toilets on site. Close to the road, but quiet at night.

Lovely small campground on Oak Creek! Just six miles from Slide Rock park and a short 20 minute drive to Sedona.

Camp Hosts, Korey, his wife Anna and Kim, another camp host made my first experience camping in Manzanita a pleasure My rental car needed a jump start, Korey came to the rescue even when he was "off duty" ! I stayed in #12 . Oak Creek was right next to my campsite. Bathrooms were always clean Follow the "Creek trail" to a pool area. Bring your floaties! It's refreshing, the pool. 6/16-20/24 was my stay. I'm going to return ASAP!!!

We loved our camping spot. We had a quiet camping spot among the trees and next to the river. Our two toddlers were able to play well there. Friendly camping host. No showers but there were toilets and we could take drinking water.

The campground is a great balance of accessibility and seclusion. And the camp host was exceptional, keeping everything clean and staying available to answer questions. Will be back.

Great spot with river and swimming hole access. The ranger was personable and helpful. Amazing spot to camp if you enjoy primitive camping.

The campground is 10 mins away from the downtown and is very well kept. The host is friendly and is available if any help is needed. The campsites are clean and the toilets are neat. All the camp sites have access to the Oak Creek so you can dip your feet in the water and be back to your campsite in a minute. It is quite peaceful to sleep with the creek sounds in the night. Although getting a campsite is tough on the weekends, it is worth it.

Very nice and clean.

The campsite host was welcoming and helped us a lot. Other campers were pleasant, and the position of the campsite next to the creek was everything we wanted. There was lots of toilet paper in the bathrooms as well.

A very convenient location for visiting Sedona. Beautiful spot to camp especially the spots along the creek. Stayed in spot 12 and it was awesome.

We have been camping here a few times and always find it the same. It is amazing
Clean, and so comfortable
There are only tents and a very limited number of sites
The Oak Creek behind is filled with trout-
Everytime we fly fish we catch a number of fish- We throw them back, but they are big enough to cook
The sites are spaced out and have a picnic bench, a fire pit and a grill, you can bring wood and grill
It is very shaded and at the end of the site, there is a large body of water to swim.
It is about 6 miles north of upper Sedona on the way to flagstaff up 89A
highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time at this campsite. It is clean and quiet. Bring your own firewood or bring cash to purchase firewood on-site.

Most beautiful campground I’ve ever stayed at

After staying in uptown Sedona, west Sedona, Airbnb’s, hotels, and other campsites but manzanita is by far our favorite!
@JohnP991 · Camped on Mar 18, 2021 at Campsite #12
Great place! Host was awesome. Traffic on 89 is pretty non stop, but the creek drowns out all but the loudest of vehicles (sadly there are quite a few). But aside from that love the campground!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Manzanita campsite. Our site was spacious and we had a great view of the creek. The bathrooms were nice for being pit toilets. The camp host was very helpful and friendly. We will stay here again next time we visit.
@AndreaM910 · Camped on Feb 18, 2021 at Campsite #12
The campground is small and quiet with clean restrooms. It's very close to the main road that goes to Flagstaff but we hardly heard anything since not many people travel that road at night. Keep in mind if you're winter camping that this campground is extra cold because it's in a canyon and there's a nearby river. Sun doesn't really reach this area until late afternoon. This campground is best for small groups since space is so limited. The camp hosts are friendly and helpful when we asked about different hiking trails in the area.

Camp was extremely clean, super peaceful and serene. The host were so helpful and so sweet, we loved our trip, and the running creek through camp was amazing!
