The campground in nice, but it's located right next to a busy road. Thankfully traffic is very low from 10PM to 5AM.

The campground were nice and bathrooms were clean. Plenty of space in-between campsites but only one parking spot available which isn't the best but there's not much room. The road to get to the campsite was closed due to snow so the first night we couldn't even stay there and it was march.

We absolutely love this campground. Its far enough out of the hustle of town, but close enough to get right back into hiking the next day. The creek flowing through adds to the ambiance of the tree coverage, and red rock background.

Very disappointing. We were in campsite #7 and the bathroom smell was so strong that we didn't even want to hang out at the campsite. Being close I figured that we'd smell it from time to time, but it was constant and made even s'mores unappetizing. It's probably not always like that, but the whole campground is so small that most people probably had a similar pungent experience. The spot for the tent had a BOULDER in the MIDDLE of it. It was mostly underground, but it still took up 3 feet of unusable space in the center of the small, slanted area. Unbelievable and unacceptable. When they say no oversized vehicles, they mean it. My minivan barely inched into the parking spot. The table was a nice solid cement and the fire pit was good. The trees made the area beautiful and even though we were close to the road the trees and decline of the camp made it more private and quiet than I expected.Campsite #7 was is not large or flat, but removing the giant rock from the tent spot, flattening out the campsite, and emptying out the toilets way more frequently would have made it much more enjoyable. As is, I'll never camp at Manzanita again, even if that means missing out on amazing Sedona.

My site was site number 7 and it was directly in front of the restrooms and the garbage bins. It smelled horrible. Manzanita is a nice campground, and it was great to be near the creek. It was also near the highway, but the car noise did not bother me. Also, there are very few sites, so if you would like to get a site, you probably need to make your reservation very early. Definitely stay away from site number seven though because there was a constant disgusting smell. Manzanita is nice because it is so closely located to the town of Sedona. While we were in Sedona, we went hiking to Chicken Point. The campsite had a nice fire ring and a picnic table.

Excellent campground. Site 7 is close to the road and bathrooms, so traffic disrupts the sound of the creek on the other side. But, campground has groves of poison oak. New fire ring and charcoal grill. Clean, well stocked pit toilets with hand sanitizer. Camp hosts are friendly. Sufficient firewood sold on site, $8 per bundle.Conveniently located walking distance to trail that goes into canyon across road. Would return for another trip.

Nice quiet campground. Camp hosts were great and nicely enforced policies - no trailers, no generators, etc. campsites are close but its still ok. Creek is wonderful. Cant beat the location.

Nice quiet little campground, very shady and a nice swimming/fishing hole is nearby. Bathrooms were clean. The camp host was great as well!

Great spot, and we even camped in the snow. A prime location!

Has well water and pit toilets. Seems like there is some hiking that can be accessed from the campground although I didn't attempt. It's a good base camp for Sedona & Flagstaff.

Site 7 have rock bulders to entrance to the site, and its difficult to park a car and i fell over at night going back to tent. It is will be nice to remove them to avoid future traumas.

We really loved the campsite. It was shaded, close to Sedona and Slick Rock State Park. There was a nice hiking trail nearby and we were within a short driving distance to mountain bike trails. The camp host was very kind, the sites were nice and clean. Great place to camp!

My girlfriend and I have been here twice now. Brought both of our dogs the first time and we all had a blast. This time we met friends there and the experience was the same...great! The camp hosts are really friendly and helpful as well and we always appreciate that. If you're thinking about going, do it!

Great Small Campground. Loved my time there. It's definitely on my short list. The entrance is small and pops up on you real quick. Keep a sharp eye out for the entrance and be prepared to break quick. It is at the bottom of a canyon so it does get cold in the mornings. Bring a Buddy Heater. Also, as said, it is small and that includes the parking spots and there are lots of boulders to watch out for. Don't be afraid to get out often and make sure you are lined up properly. They do have firewood for sale. I think it was $7 a bundle when I was there. There is a ruin to the north. I never did get the story on that. I think it might have been an old school house. Also for those wanting to checkout the Sterling Pass Trail, you can reach the tail head by taking a path by the ruins. You don't need to walk along the road. I think that is all my advise. Enjoy!
