My 3rd time here and have reservations in the next coming weeks. Very nice campground.

Everything actually there was great. Cozy, chill environment. Well-kept sites. Helpful host. Beautiful scenery with walking access to Oak Creek. Pit toilet bathrooms very clean, given what they are. Convenient walking path to Sterling Pass trailhead. Only knocks are acceptable (more so knowing what you're getting into): some road noise, tight entrance/exit via main road, lack of showers. Would recommend/return someday.

Site 4 was easy to find and a good fit for our 20' campervan. The sites are not very private, but are well organized and clean. The bathroom was also decently clean and had TP and hand sanitizer. We saw drinking water but did not use it. Very nice access to Sedona and Oak Creek trails.

Beautiful campground, with wooded campsites. Sites are small but have lots of trees. Nice little creek running behind campground provided a relaxing sound backdrop. bathrooms were pit toilets and were clean.

The campsite was wonderful! The site was clean and well run and the woman who was camp host the first couple night's I was there was amazing! She was super helpful, nice, and checked on me and others while she was there. The bathrooms were clean albeit simple. The campgrounds has amazing access the creek nearby and to the road leading to Sedona and Flagstaff.

First time here, absolutely loved every second of it. The host was so nice and the environment was quiet and lively. Will definitely come back.

The incessant barking dogs…… NOT much fun!
Hope next camping trip is better

Nice quiet campground. Wish it had showers, but, wasn’t a big deal. Camp host was very nice and helpful. It was right next to the creak and close to slide rock. The only thing that I didn’t like was how dangerous the entrance and exit seem to be. They are one car wide and on a diagonal to the road. You can not really see one direction of traffic, I would actually go out the wrong direction of where we we’re going so I didn’t have to make a left turn, then make a u turn down the road. Overall, a positive experience for me and my two young boys.

Very nice, quiet and affordable camp ground. Located 12 minutes from the downtown of Sedona and across the street from a cool state park.

The campsite was perfect. #4 is very secluded with easy access to the hiking trail. The campground was quiet and the multiple fresh water spigots were appreciated. Would definitely stay again!

It was awesome! It’s a great location, we were close to everything in Sedona. The entrance and exit is tight so you have to slow down to see it. We reserved campsite #14 and #4. #14 has so much room and has a little privateISH sand area to hang by the creek, it’s great for tent camping. The only thing is if your van/truck camping, its not that great only because your parking spot isn’t a drive up, you park it tandem in between two other spots and then walk 10 ft to your site. Because of that reason we drove the little loop and found a walk in tent site that wasn’t as large and it was right next to the bathrooms but we were able to drive up/in to our campsite. We were able to do an even trade for our site. We moved to #4 the next night and that was great for us! We had to use some rocks to level out our truck/camper but it was so private and it leads to a little trail that it was awesome. The ranger Donna was so sweet and kind. The gentleman was also very nice.

They sell wood at about 5pm and stop when it gets dark.

It’s not a place for partying because it’s a small area and a very mellow vibe. It’s perfect in my opinion.

It is a wonderful campground right off the road, the host was very nice and had plenty of firewood to sell. Mostly tents and that is the experience I was looking for. Oak creek is right next to camp and it was running full as the storm had just passed. Beautiful and easily accesible. For some maybe the road might be too close to camp.

Clean, centrally located campground….??

Campground is an easy drive to Sedona. Even though it is literally right along the scenic highway, it is down below it and the traffic noise is not all that bad. At night the traffic pretty much comes to an end and it's quite peaceful. Nice river access as well. The only thing that was bad about it was the entry and exit to the campground.
@JennaC914 · Camped on Jun 18, 2021 at Campsite #4
The site was nice, off in the corner away from the others; however, it wasn't level which made sleeping a bit uncomfortable. Everyone was nice/respectful, but of course their were a few rowdy folks after the quiet hours started and some of the vehicles going by on the highway had really loud music/bass. I wasn't happy with a few of the people smoking cigarettes on the campground and at the swimming hole, but it's not my place to dictate the choices that others make. The facilities were clean and, overall, it was a great experience with absolutely beautiful scenery. The night surprised me by getting nice and cool. Our two dogs had a wonderful time as well!

Manzanita is a lovely campground. It was very clean, quiet, and well managed. We really enjoyed our stay!
@KaylaD951 · Camped on Apr 2, 2021 at Campsite #4
Very clean restrooms, nice creek access, running water, overall a nice experience. My only complaint would be that our site, #4, has a trail that runs right though it so people constantly walked through our site and around our stuff, we were never told a trail would go through the middle of our site

Very nice little campground in the canyon with a trailhead across the road. Wonderful!
@KellyF395 · Camped on Feb 21, 2021 at Campsite #4
Campsite was clean; small number of campsites made it really enjoyable noise wise; bathrooms are the best I have ever seen in a campground!
