This a great place to camp. Especially if you are traveling with families. This campground provides showers if you pay for tokens as well as free bathrooms. The campsites are very spacious. You dont feel too close to anyone. Id definitely camp again .

The campground hosts here were AMAZING! I was traveling and camping along the way as a single handicapped lady, and every staff member I met was kind and helpful. Despite being very busy and completely full, the campsites and bathrooms were clean. The location of this campground right in the middle of Oak Creek Canyon and situated against the canyon cliffs and boulders is spectacular. The temperature is definitely cooler than down in the valley of Phoenix - which I thoroughly enjoyed. The showers and small campground store (which offers wood, ice, souvenirs, and campground groceries/needs) is a BIG plus! I was located in tent site A-1 - which was a large campsite with lots of shade. Truly a wonderful experience.

I fairly enjoy this place. The river runs along and there's natural pools for the kids. Showers and ice available.
