Wonderful site! Tucked away from the others, while easy access to the bathroom and water spigot. Low ant/bugs visible. Easy to get to the main road or to cross across the street for hiking trails. Will book this specific site again

Clean bathrooms! Need I say more?The campsite is conveniently located across the highway from the High Point via Oak Grove trailhead, which made the 14 mile hike easier to recover from. Overall, the whole campsite was very clean and I would definitely come back.

Great campground to stay at. Private, spacious sites. Flush toilets and water spigots come in handy, although toilets could use a good cleaning. Love the location and area. Great for hiking. The campground host is very friendly and helpful. Cell coverage is quite good. We will definitely be back.

I really like Oak Grove but my enjoyment can be diminished when too many people are around. I come out for the darker skies for Astronomy. Some people have ridiculous bright lamps going to the restrooms at night. Another camper was running his car early in the evening and the light winds blew the car exhaust in my direction for tens of minutes. I kept my cool. Fridays and the weekend can be difficult for my purposes. I'm still going to be coming back though.

I come to this park about once a month given good weather. It's orderly, clean and the camp host Rick is a super nice guy. Packed on the weekends but wide open during the week. Reservations and payment online are required about five days in advance.

Well kept campground with basic amenities. Water spigots near campsites are very helpful. Bathrooms are adequate. The hike that starts behind the fire station was pleasant. Other than that there isn’t much activities to do nearby. Just a place to relax.
