I enjoyed the campgrounds, the spots we booked were the perfect size for our big group and I was happy the water spout was near by as well as the restrooms.

We arrived around past 4pm and seen several campsites with "Reserved" status but no one is still occupying. We decided to drive all throughout and haven't seen any one camped yet. Our instinct says it's kinda creepy with our presumption maybe other campers opted out after finding out the condition of the campground being unkept, bucket full of algae and insect seems the water being stagnated for a long time. We did'nt see the camphost as well. Campsite full of leaves, seems like no one camped for a long while. Vault toilets are so smelly and haven't cleaned up. We ended up finding another campsite in Mount Laguna which has more safety vibe and camp host are consistently roving around and cleaning amenities. Waste of money and time..just a lesson learned to be more careful in choosing your campground. Trust your instinct as well if you feel safe or not once you set foot to any campground you planned to stay.

I stayed at site 9 and recommend it -- ample space for tent on flat clear ground, site is adjacent to water spigot, and a short walk to a dumpster and outhouses, (along with the standard amenities: fire pit, picnic table).Outhouses smelled bad for one of the mornings but were soon deodorized. Outhouses (vault toilets) were still gross, but nothing special.Activities-wise, we hiked along some of the dripping springs trail (at the end end of the campground) and it was beautiful (more than I expected given the reviews/photos I had seen). And our main outing was a hot air balloon ride with California Dreamin (15min drive from the campsite) which I highly recommend (in winter -- better experience than summer). No cell service at the campsite, but a few miles down the road and the cell service picks right back up. Camp host was very nice and flexible when we got there. Despite the several campsites all together we always had enough room and it was relatively quiet. Very nice for a quick weekend away.

Disheveled campground. Dry weeds throughout. Arrived and crews were cutting down trees and chipping. No advanced notice of the tree work so I could arrange camping elsewhere.

Left remedially an found a one nigh spot elsewhere. forfeited the two night I payed for the dripping spro reservation.

I arrived on Thursday of memorial weekend so it seems major tree work was I’ll planned and no advisement to me of the situation was unprofessional and disrespectful.

Campground is lovely, but we should have been notified that campfire interdiction had been extended through December.
I think that when campgrounds are running with reduced resources, such as no fires, no water, etc., fees should also be reduced.

I was unaware that we would hear dogs barking all night long. I will not stay here again simply because the dog barking from the next property over was not expected. If there were electrical so I could drown out the dogs we might return, but part of
our enjoyment of camping is hear nature at night.

Awesome, friendly camp hosts!!! Loved the campground except for the fact that it’s the entrance to a very popular trail. We got woken up at 6am by people trying to access the trail.
