Campgrounds were very clean. The staff was very respectful. Only suggestion to the park is to upgrade facilities to accept electronic means of pay for showers etc. Not everyone Is holding quarters in todays day and age.

Mt Laguna is an beautiful campsite just outside SD. The only problem was not camp fires. It does it cold. The US forest service needs to really be very clear on this. Because is is very confusing and different campsite interpret the fire restrictions very differently. It gets very cold at night.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Shady Loop, and in the Laguna Mountains in general. The campground was well tended, well managed and we had a beautiful hike through the meadow to the lake.

The campground looks beautiful with asphalt campsites and roads, plus cinderblock latrines. I'm wondering why the roads and the sites aren't a little wider. They are difficult to get in and the bulky wooden posts are very restrictive. One foot wider on the roads and camp sites would make a world of difference. We watched trailers and rvs struggle. But, we had a great time as usual. Thank you.

everything about the campground was great, the restrooms, showers, many well maintained trails, the staff. wow!
