We stayed here in June 2024, of course the weekend we reserved was a heat wave warning. The campsite is nice because you feel somewhat separated from the other campsites meaning your tent or picnic table was not in view with another one. The only thing is lots of walking traffic by this campsite to the flush toilets. It was very convenient to have toilets very close by, but just a heads up there are people they may accidentally go off the path and near the campsite. Cell service was not great for us, which was ok, we have AT&T. Camp hosts are so friendly! Toilets were clean. Noise and people chatting and laughing carry but the other comments on late night noise did not happen to us. This is our 3rd time camping here at Laguna and love it. O and lots of squirrels! They didnt bother us. The bugs were horrible but it was June and 90s. This area had some shade and I think kept our area somewhat not too hot because of the trees surrounding the campsite.

This is my first solo camp, and I was a little nervious, but kindness of the host helped me a lot. The campground is very clean and well managed. I am very grateful.

Best camp ground in SoCal. Great hiking, and mountain biking trails, great facilities, friendly people. It has been getting more popular in the past few years.

I can’t say enough good things. It was so beautiful and the spacing between sites is fantastic. The facilities were clean. I can’t wait to go back.

There were 7 families in our weekend. The sites, hiking trails and facilities were clean and well maintained. The resident Ranger -Don & his dog, Osso Blanco, greeted us and made us feel welcome and reminded us of the "No Open Flame" policy due to the fire conditions. This put a damper on our campfire plans but we enjoyed the weekend all the same. There was a couple camping who complained to one of our party about their Generator being noisy but they complied with the 10 PM limit. Otherwise, everyone was kind, courteous and we all enjoyed the trip!

We stayed here in August and it was warm during the day, but was nice and cool at night. Lots of shade. Bathrooms were clean. Would definitely camp here again.

Haven't been here since the park shut-down. I've always liked this side of the mountain, so I can see all the work they put in during that time. They made a good campground even better. What hasn't changed is the wonderful system of trails on this side of the mountain. Go during the week for a great experience.

First thing, pick up a trail guide at the visitor center, and ask if they still have a junior ranger booklet for the kids. Beautiful views while hiking and biking! We’ve gone every year for 5 years. Laguna Campground is great! They have everything for easy camping. Bring bikes!

We stayed in Shady Loop 37 and we were very pleased with the location. It felt private, close to the shower and bathrooms, and If you own a hammock there are trees perfectly positioned to hang the hammock and enjoy a nap.

This was our second time back to Mount Laguna and once again, we had a fantastic trip. We were the only campers in our loop so it felt like we had the woods all to ourselves. The bathrooms are extremely clean, and the entire campsite is well kept and cared for. John is the campground host and was such a personable and fun guy to interact with. He is very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. He has fire wood on hand for purchase so please don't drive down the mountain like we did to buy firewood when you can just find John! The hiking around this time of year (May) had gorgeous wild flowers so I highly recommend a day to hike, but more than anything, please be sure to carve out time for star gazing! We watched so many shooting stars we couldn't even keep count. Night walks to star gaze were the highlight of the trip so be sure to make some s'mores by the campfire and look up at the sky.

The people next to us played their music all weekend. It was not blaring but we could hear it at our site and it was just enough to be annoying. I told the host, so he drove by and looked at me like I’m nuts. Not a very friendly guy. I left Sunday with a migraine. WHY IS IT OK TO PLAY MUSIC WHEN CAMPING ????? I WORK, COME TO THE FOREST FOR PEACE. The usual response is ‘ there’s nothing we can do about it until 10pm’. It’s a violation of people’s quiet enjoyment. MAKE NO MUSIC A CAMPGROUND RULE.
