I don't think it was the fault of the facility, but when I made a reservation on the phone with Recreation.gov, I was told the campground had showers and was told they were coin-operated. I arrived on Thanksgiving with quarters and just enough time to take a shower before going to a family dinner. Unfortunately, the showers were closed for the season, and I was not able to shower after a 16-hour drive to make it to Thanksgiving dinner. There was also someone in my spot when I arrived, with a fire going as they prepared dinner. I don't know if the spot was double-booked, or if someone just squatted in my spot, but I didn't want to kick someone out on Thanksgiving. Otherwise, it seemed like a great campground! I would return there in the future, since as I mentioned, I don't think the issues I experienced were issues with the campground, but more with the national operators at Recreation.gov. The campground itself was kind enough to refund my money, and I really appreciate that. I loved the area, and it seemed like a nice campground. I would recommend it to others, with the caveat to take what the national Recreation.gov operators tell you about details like showers that they may not be updated about.

This is our 2nd time to camp at Laguna campground. I highly recommend this campground: lots of trees that provide enough shade; sites are not too close from each other; clean restrooms and shower (coin operated); very friendly camp hosts; nice place to take a walk and, you don't need to go out of the campground to get some exercise.

It’s was pretty crowded when I went. Camp site are small and close together.

A great camping experience and perfect layover spot for the PCT through hikers. My campsite was lovely. The facilities were clean and conveniently placed, including the showers. The area is beautiful, restful and has many shorter hiking options for families.

I camped Wed/Thurs nights and the campground was only about half full. Wouldn't want to stay here when it's full, as the sites are somewhat close together, with a handful of exceptions. On the second night there was a group of late-night, loud partiers. They were not near us, thankfully, but heard them throughout the night and into the morning. With two camp hosts on site I was disappointed that no one intervened. Otherwise, the grounds and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. I believe the vault toilets were excessively deodorized - after using the facilities, my clothes carried that deodorant smell until they were laundered at home. kinda yucky smell, imho.
