Our original site #45 was a disaster. The forest service put a gate at exactly the wrong spot to prevent us to maneuver our RV into the campsite. We have a large class A. Smaller Class C RVs and small trailers would not have created the problem. The problem was compounded by the fact that every site in the entire campground was reservable and reserved. The camp host however saved the day. Even though the gate was in the wrong location and we didn't get to stay in site 45. Without the on-the-ball camp host who overcame the problem created by inept planning on the part of the forest service, the rating would have been a 1 rather than a 5.

I always like Quartz Creek and even though it was rainy, this trip was no different. The camp host was fantastic, I was having some issues with my motorhome and he took the time to give me a hand. The lake and creek level was very high from recent flooding so fishing wasn't great but it's still a really nice campground. I will most certainly go back.
