But the road in and out, and within the campground, is terrible. I drive a small economy car, and if I'm not really careful, it bottoms out on the rocks on the way in and out. I had a couple of times with a hard hit, even driving carefully, that I feared would damage the undercarriage of my car.
Walking around the campground at night is hazardous, because it's easy to miss one of the potholes in the road and fall. Even if you don't, they're deep enough to soak your shoes when they're full of water.
