Beautiful campsite on the flowage, with docks at the site for our kayaks and small motorboat. The steps down to the dock needs attention. Mainly quiet campground with mostly concerned boaters who cut their wake when encountering kayakers, though there were a couple of "showboaters" from the group camp who were not so accommodating. Only pit toilets at this campground, though they were kept clean, and no electricity. No showers either, now that the Mondeaux Lodge is closed because of owners retirement. This type of campsite fits our needs well for a few days camping, kayaking and fishing. As with all National Forest Campgrounds, if you have the Senior Pass, the site you occupy is 1/2 price.

We always love staying at Spearhead Point. The one thing we noticed was that the camp host was gone through out our entire stay.
