We love this campground! It is so beautiful and very clean!! The showers have hot water. Bathrooms are cleaned daily. The campground sells firewood and ice if you're in a bind and even deliver it to your site. There is also a convenience store, Coon's Country store, that sells breakfast, coffee, firewood and other things you may need. The cheapest place to get firewood is the Corner Market on Lakewood Hwy (you pass it on your way to the campground from the highway). The campground is about 15 min from Blue Ridge and 30 minutes from the Swinging Bridge hike.Site 11 was perfect!!! It is a walk-in site so I recommend bringing a wagon if you have one. It is a large, fully private site. We fit 2 tents and a canopy tent over our picnic table. The site is on its own little peninsula surrounded by the lake and views of the mountains. The view was breathtaking. We did not see or hear anyone from our site. The firepit was in a good location. You could fit chairs all of the way around the pit which was nice for when the wind changed the direction of the smoke. There is not electricity or water at this site but the campground has it, so we didn't have any issues. Campground staff was friendly and helpful the few times we saw them.

Best camping site I've ever had! Walk in site with a very short walk but enough to give you some extra privacy. Right on the lake with amazing views of the water and mountains. Will definitely be back!

Heaven on Earth! We stayed at site 11 which is a hike in site right on the lake. Beautiful camp ground with clean bathrooms. They have very friendly staff also.

One of our favorite campgrounds. Nice and clean bathrooms, beautiful lakeside sites. Road towards the back of the campground really needs to be repaved but other than that it's great and the campground manager is always easy to deal with.

We had a beautiful site on the water....bathrooms were excellent, strong hot water, clean & heated! We will be back. Easy to launch kayak too.

It was very nice and well kept up. Only issue was that they don’t allow golf carts. Not sure why as the campsite had plenty of their own. Beautiful view at the lake with the mountains in the background. Overall a great experience!

Great walk-in water site. Quiet. Clean renovated bathrooms.

The walk-in campsites are all excellent, most are right on the lake with easy access to the water for kayaking and swimming. Campground manager is always on top of things and promptly delivers ice and firewood. Great place for a family trip or with friends to get out on the lake or just enjoy the views and our dogs love getting in the water. Recommend walking out on the peninsula to view the sunset. Probably my favorite campground I've ever stayed at.
