Ticks were heavy in the woods this trip, but thats to be expected. Was a nice quiet campground well kept bathrooms, clean and showers clean just wish they had hot water for the utilities sink for dishwashing

Although site was small, the location was amazing. Large beautiful trees. Facilities were clean and the showers were hot

Our stay at Owens Creek was our second time and we enjoyed it equally as much. The sites are big allowing for more privacy and quiet, the hilly terrain is very pretty, especially in the fall. We were very impressed with the campground host, who helped with firewood - very nice! We will no doubt stay there in the future.

Campground host was friendly and helpful, and offered useful information about the campsite and the surrounding hiking trails. Bath and shower facilities are clean.

Owens Creek was a beautiful campsite. We really enjoyed looking out into the trees from our tent and spot in general. Unfortunately we happened to be sandwiched in-between two groups of very loud parties which was unfortunate. The sites are well spaced -- we didn't feel too crowded -- but the levels of noise made it pretty much impossible to really enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. In addition, this site does not allow you to bring in firewood. The wood available onsite was damp if not outright soaked, making for a less than ideal fire experience.
