I've stayed at Owens Creek many times in the past 7 or 8 years. It is my favorite campgrounds! There is plenty of space between tent sites and nicely wooded so you have privacy in your tent site. Each site has a fire pit and a picnic table with firewood available in the park. The bathhouses are always kept in clean, decent condition. Beautiful hiking trails within Owens Creek and nearby in Catoctin Mountain Park and Cunningham Falls State Park. The Appalachian Trail is just a short drive away as well.

We absolutely loved our first time at Owens Campground. It was so clean and well maintained. The camp boss was so friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

A tree limb fell on us and we almost were killed. This happened at site 14 at Owens creek. There needs to be an arborist to make sure the trees are safe! The tree was 100 feet up and a branch as long as a car almost killed us.
