Depending on Camp Hosts of which there has only been trouble with one who was rude to the point of making a 4 year old little girl cry--- every stay has been the absolute best.As a grandma I have decided not to let ONE Camp Host ruin years of family togetherness. We will be returning for mu annual birthday stay and look forward to building and maintaining friendships we have made with Rangers and fellow campers.

We visited Camp Misty Mount on the recommendation of our 11 year old granddaughter and she was right. The historic cabins were clean and had plenty of room, with windows open and provided a great cross breeze. The rangers and camp host were very knowledgeable about the history of the park and the surrounding areas. My husband misplaced his wallet and the rangers went out of there way, in the rain to help us look for it. The complimentary firewood on check-in day, was an added bonus and there was more wood in the woodshed. The bathrooms were clean and heated. The loop we were on had a covered dishwashing station which is very helpful.

Everything went very smoothly at Camp Misty Mount. The camp host was very helpful, and I had a very nice conversation with the Ranger and her intern. The cabin provided exactly the getaway that I needed.

Nice pool, free firewood. the cabin was very dirty, a lot of spider webs. They said keep the food inside the cabin because there is bears, but because I was keeping the food in the cabin, 2 rats got into the cabin in the middle of the night, I has to throw away the food.It will also be nice if you could do the check-in before 3pm. 3 pm is too late when you are looking to enjoy the whole day there,

A very nice 2 night stay at the cabins at Camp Misty Mount! Our camp host Kari was lovely as were ALL of the rangers and park personnel we encountered! Highly recommend for your next little nature getaway!
