Pine trees, clean and well spaced sites.

We stayed at #11, which is a great campsite under normal circumstances. It is a more secluded location and set up well. It is far enough from the main Highway, that road noise is nonexistent. There are quite a few chances to see wildlife at this Campground as well (chipmunks, squirrels, numerous Birds and a few dear). The nearest bathrooms are approximately a 70-yard walk. The campground hosts were extremely helpful and attentive. Our problem was with rain. The campsite drains very poorly and was completely flooded after about an inch of rain and took most of the night to drain off. I believe if there were some drainage channels dug out, this wouldn't be a problem in the future. My only other concern is the entry to the parking spot. It is steep enough that even my SUV scraped the ground upon entry and exit. You have to be very careful and plan for a sharp angle to avoid scratching bumpers on the paved drive. Over all, one of my favorite sites within Elephant Rock Campground.

Campground was incredibly clean, and the hosts were incredibly nice and friendly. The spot i got was up against the hillside, so quite private as well. Did some biking and just base camped here. Will do it again next year!
