It is a beautiful campground. Very quiet and clean. The host was pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend this place. It rained a lot while we were there so we did not get a chance to sit out very much. We will be back.

Love this site! We have been coming for years to Site 18. They did removed a few trees from the tent pad area so that is more in full sun during the day. The picnic table area still gets shade midday. Camp Hosts were very nice and kept the facilities very clean.

The campground is well maintained and staffed. Beautiful trails all throughout the Carson Forest. One of my favorite stops for summer camping. Thank You National Forest Workers!

Beautiful area. Helpful camp hosts. Firewood for sale on site. Verizon does not work at the campsite. As others have mentioned, Sipapu is only about 3 miles up the road and cell service kicks back in around there.

Always a pleasant trip to Agua Piedra. Camp hosts keep the bathrooms very clean. Pot holes in the roads inside the campground have been filled in so it is easier to drive up to the upper loop. Sipapu ski village down the road 2 miles is great place to get some ice cream or food essentials, wash your hands and check messages! No cell service on Verizon at camp.

Fantastic camping in the forest. Very clean restrooms. Drinking water faucets available. Short walk the trailhead of Colorado Trail which is a beautiful hike. For a short , about 2mile hike from trailhead you can get to a very scenic bridge. We will definitely return. We stayed in a 26ft camper in site C1. Only negative is about a mile before campground entrance you are on a VERY ‘washboardy’ dirt road-be sure to secure everything in campers, even things that usually ride ok. Enjoy!!

We love this campground. The hosts keep the restrooms clean and it is a pretty quiet campground with amazing views of the stars at night. The little creek/river north of the campground is great for splashing in when it is hot. The Sipapu ski village down the road is a good place to wash hands, grab some ice cream and get some cell phone service. The lower loop does have a second vault toilet not on the campground map next to site #22.
