Site #15 at Scout Mountain campground is a great site - very spacious and level (or very close to level). It was nice that there was an official host this year and no cows at our site.

The Group campsite 028 claimed a lot of tent spaces, which we found there was not, due to the hill we were on, sleeping was terrible because we couldn't find a good flat surface.. I'd say there was at most 5 tent spots, and not great ones at that. One of the couples resorted to putting their tent on the wrap around road, through the campsite and we ended up having to use the entrance for the exit, and the exit was locked... which we were told had to stay locked, it was a mess... probably will never go back to that site. Also ran out of T.P. and the bathroom was gross when we got their.

We used the group picnic site. It is very roomy and nice with a large fire pit and 10 tables. There isnt a lot of room for parking.The only draw back was that the camp host, who is parked right next to the group site, ran his loud generator the whole time we were there and it was obnoxious.

This is a really pretty wooded campground with several campsites very private. We stayed here on our way home to TX. The nights cool off nicely being in higher elevation. The road to get here is a paved one but curvy. We had no issues with our 21 foot trailer. The only negative we experienced was the generator noise from the host until quiet hours.

There were too many flys.

Very well maintained campground with nice spots that are are fairly secluded from one another. We always enjoy coming here every year!

Upon arrival, our campsite was occupied. Apparently, a new company was managing the campground and the camp host did not have any information on what was reserved. Fortunately, we found an empty campsite.Plus, the water was not yet turned on. We ended up buying 18 one-gallon bottles of water in Pocatello and hauling them to our trailer.Not very many campsites can be reserved. Some used to be a previous picnic area converted to campsites and aren't very big.Our site was #24, nonreservable. 25, next to us can be reserved. Very inconsistent.Restrooms did not smell bad. It appeared the camp host couldn't secure the toilet paper rolls. I'm giving 2 stars until they can come up with something better. We loved our stay, but management was not prepared.Hunt: bring a hummingbird feeder. It was fun watching them dart in and around our site.

What a beautiful campground! The sites have trees/brush between so that each site feels private. And it's so close to Pocatello! We had a large family gathering and the triple site provided enough space for everyone to visit. We are planning to return next year!

Camp hosts were amazing! Campground is well maintained and clean. Love that this little gem is only 30 minutes from Pocatello.

The campground was a triple site #19. We all loved it. We had a moose pass through just outside the campsite. There was plenty of room for everyone to park and we had three large picnic tables and lots of shade. The bathrooms were close are very well kept. In fact, I'd say they were the cleanest of any campground I have visited in several years. The campground hosts were kind and helpful. The only issue I had was the reservation did not say what loop the campsite was in. I found it easy enough, but it would have been more helpful to state the loop in the confirmation email.

I was unclear on the reservation. I thought I had reserved for two nights so we didn't have to rush to pack up and leave. I was mistaken. So check carefully do make sure you are clear on your reservation. Other than that we had a lot of fun and it was beautiful there.

Camp Hosts CheriRae and Jonathan were extremely welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. Our only issues were the relentless biting horseflies (just part of camping) and a generator that ran constantly during two days of our stay (an unfortunate disruption of the camping experience). Otherwise, this is a beautiful location with generous campsites, clean and well-maintained outhouses, and many trails to explore.

Site was to narrow for my little 26' camper. I had to park up against a retaining wall so my steps would clear the 6X6 retaining timber on the other side. Thank god I didn't have a slide. The roads into the campground are narrow and over grown with brush scrapping the side of the camper. Bathroom floor was dirty and needed swept. I was there tree nights and never saw a camp host.

Always love staying at Scout Mountain. It's a great escape from the heat in lower elevations with great facilities and an outstanding campground host. This campground is becoming an annual visit for me and my pup.

The group site had a great fire pit with plenty of seating. The shade was fantastic during the hot weather and would definitely stay here again!

Sure would have been nice for the FS to call and tellmus that the camp ground would be closed the day after our reservation. Happend to call and ask a question and was told about the closure.

We stayed at campsite 14 and it was nice. There was plenty of shade and very close proximity to a spigot for water and the restrooms. The restrooms were clean and well kept. Overall we had a good time!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
