Awesome campground with very nice spots. Very shady and close to all the major sites.

Fabulous quiet campground in a grove of trees, deer grazing outside your camper when you get up in the morning. Views of high cliffs in 3 of 4 directions. Could not ask for more.

Fantastic camping. Love that there is wifi in the camp now but a range extender in the C loop would really help. Great camp host, love the peach pie

We spent 10 days in Loop C. We loved it! The camp volunteer chatted each day as she walked past. The access to trails was fantastic. And the campground was really clean and quiet in spite of being full every day we were there.

Gorgeous campground. Quiet and very well maintained. Easy walk to challenging trails with phenomenal views of the most beautiful national park. Pie!!

Lovely campground with plenty of space between campsites. Great access to potable water and restrooms. Within walking distance of Gifford house and some of the orchards.

Always a pleasure. Enjoyed not having a generator roaring next to our site! A GOOD move!

Simply beautiful! Loved this little oasis. Only wished we had more time to spend there. Would love to stay here again for several days. The park is beautiful and the campground/campsite was perfect! Great facilities! We walked to the Gifford House in the morning for the amazing cinnamon buns and a couple pies for later in the day, so good!

Very nice, easy access! Great the rangers that pass by frequently to check everything is ok!

This is a beautiful, small, family-friendly campground at the edge of Capitol Reef that makes for a lovely visit to this park. Lots of hiking trails close by - several right from the campground - make this an excellent base area.

A beautiful campground with many trees for shade. Very quite at night with adequate space from your neighbor. The bathrooms were very clean. The Ranger led programs at the camp amphitheater were fantastic. The pies that are sold at the house were delicious, but sell out fast. We will definitely return to camp and pick the fruit.

Way too crowded. Generators galore. This is camping…?!
@DonnaR944 · Camped on Oct 4, 2021 at Campsite #60
we enjoyed our stay-hiked trails, listened to ranger program in afternoon, watched wildlife close by and stayed in our camper.

Great location - free fruit!!
Had shaded spot. All I had was a tent, but that was all I needed.

Our site was great, site 60, and we were so happy to be able to pick fruit. We bought apple and I made Apple Crisp which was amazing! We had the best smelling camper in the place!

Lovely campground amongst the orchard trees

We were camped in Loop C and there were no bathroom facilities open. Loop B's bathrooms received the traffic from the combination of both Loops. I noted that Loop B or A had pit toilets along with the flush toilets. That seems like a needed addition for Loop C since the campground is fully open and occupied for several weeks before the bathroom of Loop C is open.

Other than that, we liked the Campground, Capital Reef, and surrounding area very much. Beautiful country!
