The one bathroom for the loop was closed despite taking reservations for that loop, and making everyone walk to the other side which was pretty far. Sites are nice and flat, some good shade in the trees and its pretty spread out. Unfortunately the pie place was closed too.

Orchards full of all colors on red cliff backgrounds. Motorcycle adventures surround you. Amazing hikes right from the campground. Heated bathrooms in the cold fall days. A great place!

Surrounded by dramatic scenery, the beautiful park like campground is situated perfectly to enjoy the hiking trails and all that Capitol Reef NP offers. Fall weather was just right .

The campground was quiet and the restrooms were clean. There was a moderately strenuous beautiful hike through the canyon that started at the campground and also a nice walk along the river.

The campground is very pretty, our site was clean and level. The restrooms are clean as well. There is a trail right along the river in the campground, you can walk to the Gifford house and other exhibits. The pies at the Gifford house are delicious.

We loved our stay in Fruita Campground in early April this year. The fruit trees were blooming and it was just fantastic. They have well taken care of accommodations, restrooms were clean and the Camp Host was super friendly. This was one of our favorite stays on our 10-day journey thru southern Utah. We will definitely be going back one day.

This is a really nice campground, The layout is easy to get around and the facilities were great. I was on loop C so I was able to use the generator which helped to charge the RV battery. I went in late winter/early spring so it did snow a bit. It would be nice to go in either late spring or fall so we could see the fruit trees.

Cute campsite right in the park! Walking distance to some of the trailheads and the Gifford House. Rangers did an evening talking about petroglyphs and pictographs right in the campground as well as had a stargazing talk with telescopes.

Great campground. Camp host gave us approximately 90 seconds upon our arrival (portly male camp host) to turn our motorhome off even though we were still leveling our vehicle and setting up. Was 8pm, not late at all. Very grouchy and impatient.

The campground was as usual very clean. No phone service even at the visitor center. That would be good. No electric hookup. It was 95 degrees in our coach when trying to sleep. Electric hookup would be great. The campground hosts did a great job.

Very clean, quiet campground. And so close to the great scenes at Capital Reef!

The sites are not all that private, but the scenery and trails make up for it. Get to the Gifford House bakery early for delicious pies. Chimney Rock was amazing!! We hope to come back in the summer for the fruit picking season.
