It was very frustrating and disappointing to see the 'Campground Full' sign up the entire time of our stay and yet three unoccupied spots were always unavailable. Two had orange cones blocking them and a sign that said for 'administrative use." Two of the best sites in the camp sat empty, unused, while campers were turned away. The third site was across from the host and used to park a golf cart. An unfortunate example of administrators needs being put ahead of the publics. Unfortunate indeed. Three families were unable to enjoy a camping trip to one of our most beautiful National Parks that week because the the poor management of a very valuable and limited resource.

Beautiful setting, and a very quiet campground. We stayed in Loop B, site 38, good site. The bathrooms in Loop C were closed so the Loop B bathroom was crowded at times with people waiting but it was a short walk to Loop A. Once or twice in our stay, the wifi would all of the sudden come to life--I think the signal was stronger near the campground hosts, but I'm not sure.

We loved our stay at Fruit Campground! Clean sites and restrooms, it was quiet when we where there and trails leaving from the campground were fun to explore. We look forward to coming again. Thanks for a great stay.

One of the most beautiful sites I've stayed at. Perfectly clean with close proximity to nature and great reviews. This park should stay open for the millions of people who enjoy it and public access instead of private property. The rangers and all site staff were essential to this amazing stay. The pie shop was incredible and there was wildlife everywhere

This is the cleanest and best cared for campsite we have ever stayed at. The awesome tree canopy is great for shade. I like the generator hours to cut back on noise.

I love this campground. It was so serene, the deer walking around were marvelous, the sound of the flow of the river, the beautiful scenery, the orchards. I was here in early May, and the weather was perfect; I didn’t need electricity for my motorhome, I just made sure I had a full tank of water before coming here. The pies from the Gifford house and the homemade ice cream were excellent. Great price especially because I got a 50% discount for being old. Lol. We took a couple of very nice hikes.

The campground was clean and quiet. We especially enjoyed seeing the orchard fruit trees beginning to bloom.

We stayed one night in a class C RV (23 Ft) during the 3rd week of March. Frutia is a wonderful and unlike other NPS campgrounds in that it is located within a fruit orchard and old farm homestead. Very unique character. Site was level. 30 amp shore power worked. We didnt use the bathhouse as we had our own bath inside the RV. We used the black/grey water dump and filled up our water tank though water pressure was low and fill up took forever. Otherwise a well maintained and charming campground. Definitely recommend a stay.

Beautuful oasis! Camp hosts are visible and enforce quiet time. Wish there was a tent only loop. Sprinklers on for hours, even during a rainstorm! But no showers?

We loved this park and site. The ranger program on geology was excellent and really helped us understand why the area looked like it did. The warm cinnamon rolls in the morning at the museum were a nice addition as well.

Always lovely in the fall. The colors are superb. I highly recommend getting a pie, or two, at the Gifford House.

I loved the campground and wished we could have stayed another night. Capital Reef was my favorite NP of the four we visited this trip!! We will definitely be back! Sure bummed we missed the cinnamon rolls but the pies were too die for.

We've camped at Fruita campground for 20+ years and it's awesome. The scenery is magical, lots of great hiking trails and ampitheater presentations & discussions in the evening. My wife would say the best thing are the pies being sold at the Gifford House. They are the best..!
