I don't think I'll be back to this park. No privacy in any of the sites. No signal whatsoever. Barely light in the restrooms. No showers. Weird vibe in the whole campground. The view is spectacular but not really visible from the sites because the trees block it. It was great having trees, they just got in the way of the spectacular views but yet the trees didn't provide any privacy whatsoever.

Beautiful location in a shaded area. Bathrooms were clean and hosts were friendly. We especially enjoyed the herd of deer that shared the campgrounds with us.

Fruita was great! Our camp host John was super helpful too. Right from the campsite you can get to cool trails with great mix of rocks and river and greenery. Some of everything! And all the deer that come through the campground!

I didnt like that you could see your neighbors and be sleeping next to them because there was no tent pitching space separation. Otherwise, the campground was ok.

Had a great visit at this campground! The nearby historic museum and store was adorable. Accessibility to Capitol Reef trails straight off the campground was a gamechanger. Highly recommend!

Capital Reef NP is a wonderful place; epic hikes, historic orchards and buildings, beautiful off pavement drives and wash walks. Stock up on Fruit pies For sure.

Beautiful campground with a great hike that starts at the visitor center. Spots are spread out enough. Deer frequented the area. Highly recommend for kids. Be aware the loops A and B dont allow generators. There is a great little shop that sells ice cream and pies among other things. We will definitely be back!

Great location and nice campground. Restrooms were clean and not stinky. Wish they allowed for generators on more than Loop C. Will definitely camp here again!

What a beautiful place to camp!! Love the orchards, the River nearby, the deer all around, the beauty of the surroundings and the fresh baked pies and homemade ice cream at the Gifford house next to the campground!!

The campground hosts were awesome and very organized.
Way too much generator noise in the campground though. Silent generators like Honda’s should be required.

first time visitors very nice campground with lots of shade and very roomy sites. restrooms were well taken care of clean and well stocked

The campsites are pretty close together and not a lot of options for tent campers; either in the dirt or on a slope. We picked up a lot of dog poop at our site before we could put our tent up. Bathrooms were clean and nice, and the area is really beautiful with a lot to offer in terms of hiking and exploring. We loved learning about the history of the Fruita area and first settlers and we attended a Ranger talk about the Geology of Capitol Reef which was really interesting and very good!
