Limited drinking water available when I visited but other than this, I had a great stay

Nice little campground tucked back in the trees. I stayed there on New Years Eve, and it was nice and quiet, very peaceful.

The campground is spacious with shade. However, more than half of the park was closed for summer 2024. would appreciate the NPS to provide those update/alert on recreation.gov.

First off, great campground host. Absolute best I have ever encountered. Clean bathrooms. Clean site. Only problem I had with the campground was that many of the sites are reversed so backing in the trailer your door faces the neighbors not your fire pit or picnic table.

Nice campground with trees for shade, good facilities, well groomed sites, friendly staff and interesting interpretive programs. Loved the pies and cinnamon buns! And of course the great hikes a short walk from the campground. Also really appreciate the no-generator policy in loops A & B.

Beautiful campground directly in the orchard, within the park, with 2 great hikes that start either right from or across the road from the campgrounds. Well be back!

Very quiet campground with great shade from the large trees. Deers even frequented the campground.

Nice ambiance. Camping table was a bit dirty, but other then that everything was great. Especially the restrooms with water

Great campground. Enjoyed talking with camp host. Very knowledgeable. Best run state park we’ve been to

Campground tent site slowly being turned to dirt by being loved to death

Two friends and I just spent two weeks camping at all five major national parks in Utah and this was by far our favorite campsite. Best thing about it was that many of the trails could be accessed directly from the campground, so no driving just to park at a trailhead. For whatever reason, it was filled with families, so there were kids and dogs and everyone having a good time. Clean bathrooms. Negatives were that the generators fired up at exactly 8:00 a.m.. Even worse was the campground host(?) who ran a gas leafblower for a few hours every day in a futile attempt to rid the campground of leaves!?! In the Fall?!? No cell service until you get closer to town, but it's tough to beat the three-minute walk to the Gifford Homestead where you can get fresh-baked bread and pies each morning! Overall an A+ park and an A+ National Park campground!

This is always a special place to camp and this time was no exception. Gorgeous setting, clean campsites and restrooms.

Absolutely stunning campground! Camp hosts were friendly and helpful. Warm cinnamon buns in the morning and fresh baked pie for dessert. We even got to pick apples from one of the historic orchards. Be sure to hike up to the Cassidy Arch.

We always enjoy the usually quiet and pleasantly small campground. We also enjoy eating the freshly baked pies from Gifford House. Of course, the hiking options are numerous and varied.
The only downer was that we happened to camp next to an RV couple who ran their very loud generator all day long, until 8 p.m. Because we hike most of the day, it only bothered us while we were eating dinner and getting ready for bed. In fact, we left and took a walk because we couldn’t hear ourselves think.

The campground was small and quiet, very neighborly. I loved the access to trails from and through the campground as well as the amphitheater to watch the ranger program. My favorite part was watching the mule deer munch on the apples around us, and made for a beautiful scenery with the red Rick's behind the green trees in the background as we watched the wildlife.

Full of RVs with noisy generators and screaming children. At least the campground is close to hiking trails and the orchard.

Beautiful campground, it's like camping in an orchard. Bath house facilities are adequate and clean. Several great trailheads start right at the campground.
