Beautiful campground, great hike next to river and up to summit. Especially enjoyed pie day at the Gifford house.

Camp hosts Bubba and his sidekick were very nice. The campground is very neat and peaceful. Deer roam freely though the sites. Recently re-paved asphalt was a bit sticky, but it was hot while we were there. Trees provide ample shade. Sites are close together but large enough for side by side parking.

Very nice campground , need to re evaluate generator rules. They stopped ability for loop A&B to use generators, need to reinstate very limited generator use.

We arrive at night. There are no info about showers location. There are not situated in main camp.

Nice campsites mostly well-spaced from one another, clean washrooms, and great views of the surrounding red-rock mountains.

This was our favorite campground of our trip. Fruita is surrounded by the Fremont River, apple orchards, a horse pasture and right on the scenic drive through the park. We loved the peacefulness. It was just great!

Beautiful campground in such a peaceful area. Love the orchards and rock formations surrounding the campground.

Fruita is a lovely campground with large sites and not too crowded. Most sites are quite shaded. So if you have solar, you might not get a full charge every day. Generators are a problem. During the hours that you’d most like it to be peaceful (8-10am and 6-8pm) there is usually the din of generators disturbing the natural sounds.

It was a beautiful location with very clean facilities. The draw back was no shower and no internet ( to plan next day ) .

Beautiful campground with level spots and plenty of shade. Hiking trails adjacent to campground along with a small store that sold delicious pies, jams and other items. Will definitely return and recommend to all.

Fruita was one of the best campgrounds I've ever stayed at. The trees made it feel like you were sleeping in an actual orchard. It was quiet and peaceful. The 360º view of the mountains made it all the more spectacular. I could spend two weeks here just sitting at my campground and looking around. Campground hosts were very kind and helpful, they stopped by to answer our questions. We attended a NP Ranger program about the history of the Fremont Culture and learned so much about the area! Thanks for a wonderful stay, we will be back!

This is a wonderful campground in a wonderful location. The bathrooms have running water and are exceptionally clean and well lit. The campers were quiet at night. This campground is surrounded by these amazing orchards the the NPS maintains. I highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful campground. We especially liked being able to go on a hike right from the campground.
