Lovely campground with plenty of space and trees providing shade. Restrooms were clean and even heated. The proximity to the Gifford House and temptation of fresh cinnamon rolls every morning was something I couldn't resist. Camp hosts were friendly and helpful.

We had a nice stay at the campground. Enjoyed the fall colors, the deer wandering through the campground munching on honey locust bean pods, and the cool weather. Fall is a good tome to visit CARE.

Beautiful area, great RV site with location to historic farm, clean bathrooms, clean and convenient dump station with fresh water fill. Deer came to visit and eat the mesquite pods around the campsite! Only drawback was pad for RV site newly paved but not level (construction crew didnt use a level as 5 off from front to back of site).

Very nice campground!! Spent 3 nights there and throughly enjoyed it. Lots of great hiking around. We did the two arches and enjoyed both very much. Dont forget to get cinnamon rolls at the Gifford House!! Also their peach salsa is fabulous!!! We will be back!!

The campground is clean and well maintained. The campsites are shaded by large trees but there are no bushes to provide any screening between campsites. Many of the notable landmarks and hiking trails are within a couple of miles of the campground.

Nice orchard and campground. Some for options in nearby town about 10 minutes away

This is our favorite campground in Southern Utah. It is quaint and far from the main road through Capitol Reef. It is next to an ordchard and the Freemont River

Very spacious and open sites. Nice view, nearby horses and other wildlife. We would definitely go back again .

Clean flush toilets. No showers. Good size sites. Decent space between sites. Great pies!

One of the greatest campgrounds ever! Surprising place in the middle of red rocks! And very beautiful hikes near by. Not to forget the visitors in the early mornings (deers) and the pies from the bakery (very delicious!!!).
@CaitlinSE9CAFF · Camped on Mar 24, 2023 at Campsite #25
Loved being right near the farmhouse to get the delicious pies!

Beautiful campground in one of my favorite locations. Camp host was friendly and informative. Camp sites are spaced fairly close together, so not much privacy.

B25 is a great site with enough parking for two vehicles and a nice patch of grass behind it. There’s tons of space, and it is right across from the bathroom.
@MckayR930 · Camped on May 27, 2021 at Campsite #25
The campsites were close together without much privacy. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked.

We love staying in Fruita Campground. Evening and early morning are the best times to be in the park and you are right there. Sites are large and a good distance from your neighbor. Views are incredible.
