Very nice campsite in the middle of the national park. Deer wander across the site in the evenings.

Lisa, who was one of the camp hostesses was absolutely wonderful! She was a real delight. The Loop the Fold drive was incredible; the Burr switchbacks were a little intimidating, but the views were awesome. The Cedar Mesa porta-potty could use a little attention, but other than that we had a terrific time. Lots of hikes and things to see.

Camping in Southern Utah can be a dirty & dusty affair. Most campsites are lacking grass. This campground had grass which kept the dust and dirt down. The tent sites were large enough to accommodate a couple tents. The bathrooms were adequate as were the other facilities. The overall view from the campground was stunning.

This campsite is a beautiful oasis of green in a sea of red rock. Such a fun contrast. The Gifford House is an absolute must. Close to great hikes and facilities were good!

For some laughs, drive a suitable vehicle to Capitol gorge and watch people try to negotiate the road down the wash in RVs and cars which should not be there.

This is just a delightful campground in one of the most underrated national parks. The rushing Fremont river nearby, great star gazing, and heated bathrooms (thank you!) made for a great tent camping experience. I also REALLY appreciate the dear person who built a perfect (literally perfect) kindling pile for me in my fire ring on the day I arrived. I thought that was a really nice touch. You will see marmots! You will also definitely see deer.

Great campground, can see the cliffs through the trees and the river put us to sleep at night. Only negative is that this isn't the most private campground, but location is excellent in Capitol Reef.

Fruita campground is gorgeous. Set next to Red Rock and along the Fremont River. It’s grassy areas and orchards are wonderful. The Clifford House had delicious pies and gifts. We definitely recommend d it.

This is a beautiful location, with amazing views, large trees, fruit orchards, picnic areas, great hiking trails, and near the Capitol Reef National Park Visitor’s Center. The restrooms are clean, and the RV sites are well organized and spacious.

Campground was great, the area is mostly set up for Campers and Trailers. We enjoyed our time and the kids had fun. Thanks

The campground is amazing, as well as the camp hosts. The campground is surrounded by rocks and buttes on one side, and a fruit orchard and river on the other. One of our favorite camping experiences in 20 years!
