Die Toiletten waren ok. Keine Duschen. Der Stellplatz lag wunderbar unter altem Baumbestand.

Great easy location if you're in the park or general area. Clean bathroom, paved level parking spots, and plenty of space for each campsite.

Love this National Park and this campground! Always stop at the Rangers Station to find out what fruit is in season and where to pick it. We had apricots this timesuper YUMMY! The pies are top-notch at the Gifford House. Hiked Hickman Bridge againalways fun. We were disappointed that the scenic drive was closed, but we will return.

Fruita campground is a beautiful destination. The campsites are wide and spacious with beautiful giant trees to provide shade. The camp host was very helpful and kind. The apricots were all ready for picking while we were there and delicious. The beautiful green orchards and the river running through the valley are beautiful contrast from the Red Mesa cliffs of the southern Utah scenery. We enjoyed the Hickman bridge hike and seeing the natural sandstone arch at the end. We also enjoyed the evening presentations at the amphitheater. Since Capital reef national Park is a dark sky park, the night sky is amazing. We couldn't stop looking up at night. It is a wonder to behold. While we were there, our 4-year-old grandson was able to fill out a kid's workbook by accomplishing different activities and received his junior ranger badge from Ranger Katie. He was so proud of himself. Can't wait to go there again.

We loved camping at Fruita. It was a lovely oasis amid the harsh terrain and provided easy access to the trails along the Scenic Drive. It was great to be so close to the Gifford Homestead. It was a quick walk from our campsite on loop A. The pies and cinnamon rolls we had for breakfast were amazing. I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful campground. Very clean, site had a nice flat area for a tent and large parking pad. Nice hiking trails that are easily accessed from the site. We missed the blossoms on the trees in the surrounding orchards.

Spring time at Capitol Reef is gorgeous, especially with many of the fruit trees in bloom. The Fruita campground is the perfect spot to be. It is clean, and walking to the Gifford House for fresh pies is a treat.

For National Park campgrounds, this is a smaller one and we found it very convenient to hiking and close to the central area of the Park.

Loved the setting, views, trees, wildlife around the campground....and, of course, the pies sold at the museum!! We had a great experience in the park for 2 days...hiking and driving the scenic drive.

Lovely shaded mellow campground surrounded by the astonishing red rocks landscape - it felt like an oasis! Great evening program too.

Great location, parked at my campsite got an incredible Peach Pie at the Gifford House and did the Cohab Canyon to Cassidy Arch hike. Fruita as a whole was a beautiful area, plus the other people staying around me I interacted with were very kind. Also had no problems with noise at night which was very nice after a long drive.
