A great spot in Capitol Reef but no service anywhere.

Lots of trees and grass and located near the orchards and walk along the river.

Great campground. Lots of shade , clean bathrooms with soap. The only problem was it was a little hard to know where to put the tent because they have sprinklers going.

Absolutely wonderful campground! There were so many deer grazing in the orchards right next to our site. The historical buildings are charming and the fruit pies at the Gifford house were amazing! The programs at the amphitheater were superb as well!

Really unique campsite for a National Park. Sites are kind of close compared to other National Parks in Utah (in my opinion), but really beautiful scenery and unique history.

Great, large sites. Quiet. Close to trails. WiFi at visitors center if you need it.

Absolutely gorgeous spot. 13 deer grazing a few yards from my campsite, gorgeous morning and evening light on the canyon walls of CARE, campground host was helpful and friendly, weather was perfect, couldn't ask for more. Like most NPS campgrounds, there are no utilities at campsites, and no showers, but there were nice outhouses with running water, and as typical for NPS campgrounds, other campers were quiet and respectful. I'd definitely camp here again.

One of the best sites in the campground. No generators, no neighbors on one side, backed up to the orchard so you will see deer eating, grazing, playing and resting each day. If you can snag this one, dont think twice.

Emplacement gnial au bord du verger o viennent les biches, et 2 pas du ruisseau. C'est un endroit magique

Loved our campsite here, we backed onto the orchard and had plenty of shade.

The ranger was very knowledgeable. We LOVED the fresh pies and cinnamon rolls. It was a very peaceful setting with the orchards, river, and deer.

We enjoyed our time in the Capitol Reef campground. Our double wide site was perfect for our tuck and trailer. We were backed up to a fruit orchard where deer would bed down - charming. No hookups at Fruita, however the bathrooms had flush toilets and a deep sink outside the building. There is a dump station as well as potable water to fill your rv tanks. It was great staying inside the park, and the price with our Access ? Pass can't be beat.

We always have a great time at Fruita. Camped there several years now. Clean campground. The hosts are always friendly and on top of their duties. We will definitely be back.

I absolutely loved Fruita campground. Being on an old orchard, there were plenty of trees overhead providing great shade for our tent. Water and bathrooms were located close by as well as a gray water sink and drain, which was very convenient. There is a nice cold water creek running right next to the site which was incredible to lay down in after a long hot day of hikes. Lastly, the ranger on duty came around to tell us they would be showing an extended cut of the park film at the nearby amphitheater. Lots of people attended and the film was fascinating and behind it you could watch the sun setting over the red rocks, which was a gorgeous added bonus. All in all an awesome experience in an underrated park. I would HIGHLY recommend this campground to anyone.
