Quaint and quiet campground surrounded by stunning red rock walls and peaceful orchards. I was not prepared for no generators to be allowed on loops A and B but I loved the serenity without generator noise. Deer families wander through campsites all day and have no fear of humans. I loved having a campsite adjacent to the Chesnut Orchard. RV pads are wide and deep, allowing plenty of space to maneuver and parallel park my truck next to my trailer. Pads are relatively flat. If you're relying on solar power, note there are a lot of trees. Walking to the Gifford House for pies and ice cream was a treat for the whole family. Easy and scenic Fremont River Trail starts in the campground; a great family hike. We came for the eclipse and it was perfect spot. I wish they had more ranger programs. Camp hosts were very active, enforcing rules in a polite manner and being helpful when needed.

Lovely campground - so peaceful. Feels like we stepped back in time 100+ years. Very pastoral setting.

Hickman Bridge was a good hike - best to do this early to avoid heat and crowds.

Scenic Drive was lovely.

Camp host was helpful.

What a wonderful and green campground. With some wind a bit sandy / dusty on the sides. We enjoyed it here!

Beautiful surroundings! Loved the trails that started right there! Our spot was possibly the most unlevel one in the campground and presented a challenge for us with a 28 ft. trailer, but aside from that a wonderful experience. And oh, the pies!!! Bathrooms were very clean and VERY warm. Hreat after a rainy, sleety setup.

We loved this park. It's tucked up in a tree filled canyon. The RV pads were concrete with grass and patio tables. Deer roamed the area grazing the beautiful grass. There are campfire pits, but smoke didn't linger. Serve at the sites, but if self contained it's a great spot.
