The representative at the visitor center was very helpful and accommodating in getting my campsite ready for the night. I enjoyed the staff in the gift shop. They two were helpful. I made a small purchase there and moved on to visit capital national Park, which was incredible.

Park volunteer host was amazing with helpful information and friendly conversation. Campground access to hiking trails and the bakery was an added plus.Bathrooms and dishwashing station convenient and clean.Beautiful vistas and hiking trails for all levels. My favorite park in all of Utah, and the must visit location for the fall season.

This campground is absolutely beautiful. Site 11 is right across the street from the bathroom, which was very clean. Camp hosts were kind and helpful. We woke up to the sun on the top of the rock face and the deer grazing nearby. Will hopefully be returning soon!

I love this place, perfectly located in the park. Book in advance, and keep looking for cancellations as they happen all the time. Note... there are no showers.

The campgrounds are basic but kept clean and the host was very present. There was WiFi availability (pretty good) otherwise the area is very off the grid. It is siviesveful and quiet and relaxing. There was rain while we were there a rarity in the area, and some of the camp spots were very wet (tents in water pools) but with our roofnest tent and screen house we were very comfortable. There are programs scheduled in the amphitheater at the campground (they were cancelled because of the weather) and the gift shop at Gifford House is very convenient. The pies amazing! Just watching the horses at the farm and enjoying the views was wonderful.

Nice campground, sites are roomie, blacktop pad to park, dumpsters are a ways from some sites but bathroom buildings seem plentiful, the one near us was clean and well stocked. The best part- the campground is very close to the pie at the Gifford House!

The generator guidelines were not very clear online. However, we were in a no generator lot, and the campground was lovely...as soon as the sun went down.

Very quiet except the soothing sounds of the nearby Fremont River. Clean, heated bathrooms. Take a short walk to the Gifford Homestead for a morning cinnamon roll, or one of their wonderful fruit pies for dessert.

Great place, feels cooler than other areas of the park because of its proximity to the river and hills that shade from the late afternoon sun. The trees and grass are a very refreshing site while in the middle of the red rocks Facilities very well taken car of. Has low light pollution for excellent star gazing at night

Really enjoyed our stay at Fruita campground. Restrooms are clean. Hiking was great. The only negative was the RV next to us running their generator 8-10AM and 6-8PM every day

One of the most beautiful sites! Picturesque and lovely. Felt like we were in a different country. The campsite was large and it even snowed when we were there! We hiked the grand wash trail twice because we liked it so much. Went to Torrey general store for supplies. Kids loved being around the horses on site and of course we got cinnamon rolls and pies and Gilfords. Overall a perfect two days.
