Nice campground, sites are roomie, blacktop pad to park, dumpsters are a ways from some sites but bathroom buildings seem plentiful, the one near us was clean and well stocked. The best part- the campground is very close to the pie at the Gifford House!

The generator guidelines were not very clear online. However, we were in a no generator lot, and the campground was lovely...as soon as the sun went down.

Very quiet except the soothing sounds of the nearby Fremont River. Clean, heated bathrooms. Take a short walk to the Gifford Homestead for a morning cinnamon roll, or one of their wonderful fruit pies for dessert.

We loved the apricot groves! We picked a pound of them, left a dollar in the box, and made apricot jam with honey to top some pancakes!

All around great campground! Sites were large with good separation. Only potable water fill was at dump station, can fill small water bottles at restrooms. Most sites are shaded with ample grass areas if tent camping. Daily visits from the deer. Be sure to get your daily pie, recommend them all (yes, there for 4 days so we were able to try them all) but peach and cherry were our favorite. Cinnamon rolls were okay.
Lovely stay in an absolutely gorgeous setting. Weekends can be a bit overcrowded there, with large groups packed pretty close together! With no hookups and very limited generator hours, an extended stay may be tough on your battery without solar panels.

The campground is in an ideal location. The bathrooms are very clean and the park is serene. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that in the A loop all the picnic tables and fire pits are on the wrong side of the trailer. In order to use them you have to go out the door and around to the other side which makes it less desirable when brining out all your food or chairs.
We loved our visit. It was chilly and the sun takes a little time to hit the campground in the morning. The hike across from the campground was amazing and the fresh cinnamon rolls at the cute store next to the campground were a great treat!

Beautiful setting! Waking distance to cinnamon rolls and pie at Gifford House. Several trailheads nearby. Only wish there were showers...
