Fruita Campground is well-maintained, has lots of shade, and visitors there respect each other (quiet hours).

Awesome space. It was a big site, definitely a plus! The only downside you had pull in instead off baking in, otherwise the door was on the wrong side.

Capitol Reef is one of our favorite campsites. The Hosts of the campsite were extremely helpful and friendly and the campsite was very clean! We really appreciated the fact that all generators were contained in the C loop.

Lovely campground with amazing hiking and sightseeing. Unfortunately for me, road construction was taking place in the park. However, I understand this type of maintenance is necessary and I felt the website was fully transparent about the work being done. Cant wait to go back.

Not a lot of privacy but very quiet, good bathrooms, and beautiful setting.

The campground is beautiful. Even the bathrooms are clean and comfortable. The fruit trees and trails are so fun and accessible. And all of the campsites have excellent tree coverage and shade. However, if it's not early summer or fall, the limited generator hours make the heat basically unbearable, especially if you're in an RV. Two hours in the morning and two hours in the evening isn't even enough time to cool the space down enough to sleep at night. It finally cools down enough to sleep around 3:30 a.m., and you need to be up and out by 6 to beat the heat for hikes. So basically, hit it early in the season or pass for a different location. We had like 10 campers checkout early with us because of the heat.

HIdden gem! While Capital Reef seems to be a 'day trip' park, which is unfortunate. This campground sits in the most beautiful setting. It is quiet yet active with guests. Bathrooms were spotless. And you can literally hike the park from this campground. We will be back!

Not the most exciting campground but had what you needed. The main bathroom had real lights and was heated!! It was cold outside so it was a real treat.

Beautiful location. Wish theres been showers but the bathrooms were clean and the lighting was adequate without taking away from the beautiful night sky. We loved all the trees. Capital Reef is am amazing place.

Campground was nice but lots of flies around my tent. I stayed in site 22 not a lot of flat land for tent. Other than that I enjoyed the park and the facilities.

Beautiful clean campground! We camped in our Class C motorhome under shade trees and on a nice paved site. So much wildlife running around in the campground. Deer and a Turkey.

Beautiful campground but no showers available in the park. Seem strict on regulations without much privacy in campsites. Lots of wildlife, we had a Turkey roosting in a tree over our site each night and deer walked through regularly.

The only way it could be better is if it had electrical hookups

The bathrooms (toilets only) were clean and had a heater in them. Convenient water fill up stations. A nice place to stay.

Beautiful area. Didnt spend much time here, but it was clean, and easy to access. Close to a few trail heads. Wild life near campground that are fun to see roaming about.

Absolutely beautiful campsite. In the middle of what has all the appearances of a dessert is this wonderful oasis. Clean restrooms and shady site. The real bonus was the fresh pies and cinnamon buns within easy walking distance!

The campsites were a lot closer together than I expected. Also the pictures show a lot more grass than we saw at the sites. The restrooms were very nice.

Great location! Love the orchard setting, and our hike to Cassidy Arch from the campground was our favorite of the whole 10 day trip.

Fruita campground is amazing and I'd camp there again. There are at least two trails (that I know of) right next to the campground (easy walking distance). You're pretty close to other campers so that's something to keep in mind as you set your expectations.
