Reserving cabin 20 was easy and its real close to the ranger shack where you can get ice, and real close to the showers, upon arrival be prepared to deal with a little sand, brooms provided. this cabin has an 8ft and 6ft table and folding chairs, 4 bunk beds and a nice restroom, tp provided. we brought a Honda 2200 which ran the lights and hot water heater with no issues. also, if you plan to use the gas stove, don't forget to bring pots and pans to cook with. The only downside to this cabin is the location is right near the ranger shack, so you do have some traffic off and on, really didn't bother us. overall great experience.

Highly enjoyed my time there as a learning experience for the next visit. Bring curtains to put up on the windows For your privacy. Also bring a garden hose to hook up to the water outside. Also bring a small refrigerator to cut down on so much ice buying. If you want it there with you bring it for your privacy privacy

Check-in, check-out, and bathhouse facilities were all good experience. Nice to see the new siding going up on the cabins. Cabin 20 was overall in good with a couple of exceptions (oven controls were worn and special attention was required to assure the oven was turned off and the battery pack for the hot water heater has a bad connection and had to be adjusted on several occasions to initiate operation. Overall a good experience as usual and looking forward to our Fall 2023 return visit.

A great park. Caution concerning over-zealous park ranger. Doesn’t matter if you are obeying all the laws—this one was keen on being dominate.

LOVED visiting the island & enjoyed unplugging from amenities for our vacation. Sights, sounds & volunteers were amazing. Even though the cabins seem close, you have privacy & cannot hear your neighbors (nor generators). Can’t wait to return! ❤️
