Just what you need for a fishing trip. Fresh water, showers and a place to sleep. Beats tent camping for sure!

Its hard to complain when Im this close to the water! We were in Cabin 3 and the location is great. Gas was $6 a gallon and ice was about $5 per bag. Completely reasonable-its an island. The staff was great with our kids. Its totally worth going down to the point past the light house. We went in July and brought an ac. We didnt last year. The only reason for 4 stars is that the cabin wasnt clean. It smelled. The trash can lid was covered on both sides with rotted food and mold. The shower has a good amount of sand in it and the stove was just dirty. We gave the inside a decent cleaning and added cleaners to our list for next time.

Cabin 3 was great other than the shower and water pressure. It was either freezing cold or burn your flesh off hot. We used the main camp showers after our first night experience until the hot water went out in those. Other than that, everything was wonderful! Nice cabin, beautiful view, nice staff, and absolutely wonderful place to be!

the hot water heater was very troublesome, in that it would cut out and the shower would get very cold,

First guest of the season! It was cold but with a propane heater the cabin was nice and toasty! Just wish the hot water was more consistent in the cabin. Bathhouse showers were PERFECT!

Great cabins, pretty basic but offers hot water and a gas stove. Also has the option for generator hookup. The absolute best sunrises.

Throughly enjoyed the island and the cabin.

The hot water heater constantly went from cold to hot, taking a shower an adventure

We stayed in a cabin for one night in September and camped on the beach the next night. We had the best trip. We walked on the ferry and used one of the ferrys carts because we dont have a four-wheel drive car. When we got over, the volunteers drove our stuff over to cabin. We didnt have a generator for power but it was like glamping for a night. Sat on the screened in porch and watched the sunset. Theres a gas stove to cook with too and the cabin is practically right on the water. The volunteers recommended that we rent a kubota from the ferry company if we wanted to drive and see the whole island. Also, a great decision. In September, the island is pretty much all fisherman except for the southern end by the lighthouse. Definitely the perfect place for a quiet, remote getaway if youre willing to put the work in or rough it a bit. We will be back in April.
