Love this place. Please be thoughtful if you plan on bringing a generator. The sound of the ocean waves is so much nicer then a sputtering generator.

A great place to get away from everything. If you want peace and quiet and to be at the beach, this is the place for sure.

It's a special, remote experience. Saw so much wildlife.

Cabin was clean but can use some more cabinets and countertops. Also shower head was barely working. Had to remove to wash.

We had a lovely stay, enjoying the beach, weather was great, cabin was adequate. The mattress pads on the bunk beds were very hard, and none of us slept much. Other than that, it was great!

Wonderful first trip to Cape Lookout. Spent 3 days with my 2 sons and grandson. Not many places left in the world where you can sit on the beach and look up and down the beach and see no one else. The southern area, near the lighthouse, had more people, but was not crowded at all. Had some luck fishing and caught 5 nice red drum. Cabin worked well. It is spartan, but the stove & oven worked well and the bathroom was fine. Only issue was the shower, very low water flow and the hot water would would come and go. I brought a generator and that was nice, but not necessary. A couple of battery powered lanterns would work as well. My grandson had a ball driving on the beach. Already planning another visit.

Great place to relax, reflect, and fish! Miles of beautiful beach, wildlife, and a very cool lighthouse. You probably won't like it, stay home.

Great place to get away from everything except the beach and fishing. Cabins are rustic but have plenty of essentials and work great! Highly recommend.

Always loved this place. Cabins are starting to look a little rough at times but a great place to fish and visit.
