Loved the location right on the beach. Tried to retake a shower but they are outside with half doors and no temperature control and you have to pull on a circular ring on a chain to get water and keep it down somehow while showering. Old!!!! I did not attempt this in November, just sayin!

Beautiful campground! Very quiet and peaceful place. Clean showers and bathrooms. Close access to the beach. The stars at night are amazing!

Great location just steps away from the beach. Beautiful setting. Our site had water and electricity in C loop. Nice historical sites that we visited. Body light house was just a short drive away and the Wright Brothers National Monument is a must see if you have any interest in aviation.

Reasonable, self- serve campground requiring reservations before arrival, no staff on site. Water and electric. Dump station outside of campground making it difficult to travel with blue tank as you must travel on main road. Great dump station at visitor center near Manteo, that does not require weaving through a parking lot to access the dump station.

A great place to spend the night or week. Great location and dog friendly. Camp grounds were clean and quiet. Only thing the dumpStation is on the other side of the highway so dont forget your poop trolley.

Gorgeous campground right on the ocean, watch the pickers (always wear shoes), keep in mind they don't have sewer and the showers aren't the best.

What a beautiful spot location. Easy walk over the dunes to the beach. LOVED the shower. Had warm water and did not use a lot of water.

Overall, a great stay. When the wind blows from the sound side expect mosquitos, and plan accordingly after dark. But it's the beach in summer, so that's to be expected. It's close to the beach, quiet (expect road noise on the weekends) and the staff is great.

Oregon Inlet has some campsites with electric & others with both water & electric... making them prized. The campground itself is flat and open... not nearly as scenic or private as Frisco, which is about 50 miles south on Hatteras. The beach is reached by walking through the dunes, but signage could have been better. Unlike Frisco, Oregon Inlet beach was not crowded with vehicles on it. The bathrooms were modern & clean, but the shower building didn't have heated water... fine in summer, but very cold during the wintry storm we experienced in late April! The sideways rain meant hiking to the bathroom got you soaked, and the angle of the building had the women's entrance door blown open by the wind.

The people in charge were helpful and friendly. The facility was clean and well maintained. The showers were warm, but with the cold nights and the wind, hot showers were sorely missed.

Campground is wonderful. The terrain is beautiful. So close to the beach. Easy to get into Nags Head for shopping, dining, golfing. Also close to Roanoke Island for some great historical tours. .

Beautiful spot. Great bike rides. Great walks on the beach. Very friendly volunteers at the visitor's center. Wifi would have been nice, but it was good to get away from it all.

Cold and windy December stay but loved it. Beautiful beach walk sunrise over the dunes, visit to Wright Brothers Memorial, and delicious pork tacos at Dudes Kitchen.
