We really enjoyed our first stay here! All of the park rangers are so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be returning.

So close to the beach. Absolutely beautiful and an amazing bargain. Clean bath houses and friendly people. There is road noise because you are close to Hwy 12 but that cannot be helped. Loved it! Highly recommend. The only drawback is that the wifi doesn't really work at your campsite. If you need wifi to work, you'd better bring it yourself.

great campground at the heart of the Outerbanks. only let down is the shower situation. they have two showers with outside stalls. so if it is cold out you will be cold.

We were a little concerned at first we could never find anyone staffing the ranger's office to check in after stopping by several times and always finding it locked, with nobody there. But after talking to a few people, it seemed that was 'normal' in the off season. Our site was marked with our name and check out date when we arrived, so we concluded all was 'fine'.We had a great time while there. Went out on a half day fishing trip on the Miss Oregon Inlet II, climbed the Bodie Island Lighthouse, and took a day trip to Ocracoke. And we walked the beaches at the campground, as we had a week of beautiful fall weather. (It was a pretty long walk to the beach, but the dunes were quite interesting, and it was good to get some extra exercise each day with a walk to the beach.)I also liked the warm showers in the small buildings behind the bathrooms. Water was nice and warm, and the fact you had to pull the handle to get the water minimized the amount of wasted hot water. It would be nice if they were lit up at night.Overall this was a great relaxing place to camp for the week, and we're looking forward to camping there again.

Great location, and price. There is enough room to widen the roads a little maybe two feet, and add about 5-10 feet to the parking pads. Also a few hooks in the shower to hang you towel etc. would be nice.

The campground bathroom in Loop C was clean and well maintained. In overall our stay was good . we could modify our last day site from loop b with no hookups to loop C with hookup after someone canceled their site at the last minute.

Great campground, well-equipped. Walking access to beaches and driving access to everything from Litty Hawk to Hatteras within an hour.

We always stay here when visiting the OBX. Its always quiet and pet friendly. Outside showers are warm and bathrooms are always clean.

The campground was clean, well maintained and quiet. We very much enjoyed our time there. The sites are a little bit small but not bad. The closeness of the beach was just awesome.

Love everything about Oregon Inlet campground! We have been camping there for many, many years and we are never disappointed. Denise Bates (one of the park rangers) is absolutely the best!! Always has the best attitude and we are always so excited to see her.

Campground is very clean and well kept. Some campers especially B circle let there vehicles overlap the road.
