Very nice campground, short walk to the ocean, plenty of space between campsites, a mother bear and her 2 cubs crossed the road in front of us at the Alligator River Refuge.just a great time

Love this campground. We come for two weeks in the spring and fall. Park rangers are the best! Large spacious sites! Clean bath houses!

Outstanding campground. The campground hosts and the folk in the office were super nice. Very open and breezy campground. The showers were very interesting but the water for us was warm. I have seen other reviews say cold showers. The hosts came and warned us of the winds from hurricane Fiona which was very nice. Overall a great camping experience.

Nice campground and staff!!!The sites are small so if you have a big motor home you may not fit in some sites.

Great Park, weather was the issue on this visit

We have been to the Outer Banks before and saw the attractions, so this time we spent time on walking the ocean beach and took the walk at the Refuge info center.

Perfect overnighter for birders in the Outer Banks! Across the road from the Bodie Island Lighthouse, and close to the Pea Island Bird Sanctuary. Lots of places to pull over and look for shorebirds in this area!

Campground and facilities were very clean. Mosquitoes were definitely a issue so bring the bug spray that they tell you to bring.

Great campground with bathhouse and full hookups in select areas. I hear its close to the water but we arrived after dark and checkout is 11. Looking forward to stopping in another time. Park Rangers VERY friendly!

Excellent facility! Our first time camping here and the facility was kept clean especially the restrooms. Only suggestion would be that all of Loop B and C have power and water.

We stayed for 5 nights at the Oregon Inlet Campground. The park was clean and the staff and other campers were friendly and helpful. While we were there, the wind blew constantly, and very hard for a couple of days and nights. Some people put out their rugs and camping chairs, but we just put our mat down at the door to help keep the sand out. We mainly used the site as a base for exploring the Outer Banks. The road to get to the individual sites was fairly narrow, but we were able to get our Class A motorhome through to get to our site without any problems. We camped at Oregon Inlet in a Motorhome.
