Great campground with power. Large spots. Walking to beach. Clean bathroom. Shower attached to bathhouse. Accessible to surf fishing. Very affordable. Safe. Will definitely stay again. If you plan to stay on weekends make reservations in advance.

We have been coming here several times a year for the last several years. Very peaceful. Short walk over the dunes to the beach. Oregon Inlet Fishing center is right across the street and has many fishing and grocery items, as well as the Sea Chef restaurant. Bathrooms at the campground are always clean and stocked. Looking forward to our next trip!!

This is our second trip to Oregon Inlet campground. We really like it. We were there in November and enjoyed seeing thousands of birds both on the beach and in the nearby Pea Island NWR. Facilities were clean and in good condition.

This is an amazing campground. You can see the galaxy at times. It's quiet and relaxing campground. I've already booked my next trip for 2024. Can't wait.

Great location. Site pads and loop road is a little narrow making it somewhat difficult backing in larger trailers. Also dump station is across the busy highway down at the mariner. Aside from those two inconveniences all was great.

Beautiful spot right on the beach! The shower stalls were outside, so it was windy in there, but it was a fine experience. The dump station was a little difficult to find due to construction, but, again, it was fine. Very nice campground!

This campground is very quiet and a great location for beach and fishing activities. Excellent access to the beach as well as charter fishing boats across the street or pier fishing close by. There are also several interesting attractions close by such as the Wright Brothers National Memorial and the North Carolina Aquarium, etc. The staff was prepared and helpful during these COVID times. My only frustration was the lack of internet availability and limited tv coverage, so bring movies if you want tv entertainment.

Site was clean and easy to get too. Mesquitos were pretty bad.

We've met more friends at Oregon Inlet CG and actually started a tradition of the music circle friends of ours to camp and play music...

All the volunteers and rangers we talked to/dealt with either on the phone or in person were great. We enjoyed the close proximity to Bodie Island Lighthouse and Oregon Inlet Fishing Center.

Although just 20 miles out of Nags Head, there is no over the air television or radio stations. You would think that in the digital age there would have been some radio or television station that serviced this area. This was during Covid -19 and Dare County, NC issued a 100% mask wearing that we did not have any way of knowing until we went 20 miles into Nags Head and was refused entry into a Walgreens. Was stopped at door and not allowed inside even to buy a mask. Pittiful
