Reservation system has a lot to be desired booked up 7 hrs after reset day How can it be booked up 6 months before arrival date. Maybe 3 days is asking too much we did 2 days with electricity and those days were wonderful park service was above par

Great spot for RV, campervan or tent camping if visiting the outer banks. Easy access to the beach and spacious, well-kept sites. Sites with electric and water book fast, so don't delay making reservations for your stay. Bathhouse is nice. Also close to many local shopping centers.

Friendly and accommodating staff working at the Oregon Inlet Campground. Power and waster site prices are unbeatable...what a great place to stay over and over again.

Visiting off season was quiet and few campers. Campsites spaceous and nearly level. Water and 50 AMP electricity greatly appreciated. Only downside was showers were boarded closed, but not a major loss as they are COLD showers. It would improve the year-round appeal if hot showers were added.

Great campground because you're out on the ocean yet just 15 minutes from shops, restaurants, and groceries. Campground is always so clean.

This is a very nice campground. Because of its location, there is no shade, so be prepared.

Its beach camping, so no shade and it was hot. Lucky we had switched to site with electricity so we could run our fans. It was easy access to beach over the dunes.

Must take the ferry boat over to Ocracoke Island and visit the town and the campground.

This campground has gotten busy in the last few years. Hosts are friendly and helpful and keep the area well maintained. I enjoy camping here after the summer vacation period is over to avoid the crowds , traffic and heat. Weather can be a huge factor for outdoor activities in the fall and winter season but its still a great location!

The rangers and camp hosts were very kind and courteous. Restrooms were spotless. Really enjoyed the outside warm showers. Met SO many nice people during our 11 day stay.

The showers leave a lot to be desired, especially if you have kids. They are open to the outside air and have no lights. Location was great and the beach was amazing. Lots of prickly pear cacti and sandspurs around.

The sites are large and level in the C ring. You are not close to your neighbors. The camp hosts were helpful and very nice. I was disappointed that the bath houses in the A and C ring were closed. I will camp here again.

Nice quiet campground. When in the area highly recommend a visit to the Wright Brothers National Monument.
