Enjoyed off-season stay although campground was full. Weather cooperated and although swimming was limited, it was very pleasant. A favorite restaurant closed, but found another that was close.

The WiFi didnt work and I was close to the main bldg in B-6. It worked when I stood at the main bldg but as soon as I walked to my camper the signal was lost

Shower situation not great for those who dont have RVs hooked up to electric and water. Would be nice if the bathrooms at least had warm water. Small sites- not a lot of room for screen enclosures. Pretty views of the dunes and ocean make it worth it.

We stayed in a non electric site which backed up to the dunes to the beach. Great for solar as long as it doesn't rain too much

Ok there are often Moskitos and the showers could be a bit better and a changing room is missing. But the campground is so nicely set in between the dunes and nature , nothing around but nature apart of the street that bring you there and a marina on the other side of the street. Incredible night sky , very nice staff, short walk to the beach and for the outer banks usually waves ok for everyone. One of the best if not the best campground on the east coast.

I love camping at Oregon Inlet. My only concern was the overly generous "Generator Hours". There is nothing you can do about the road noise, but allowing generators to start at 6a.m. is very annoying. Most campers in large RVs are courteous and wait until 8a.m. or so to fire up there invertor generators. Unfortunately, this time we were next to a group of young men who fired up there loud (non-invertor) generator at 6a.m. and proceeded to leave for most of the day charter fishing. I strongly believe the generator hour policy should be amended to a more reasonable hour to prevent this uncourteous camping behavior. The staff were all very courteous and approachable. The bathrooms are clean and the showers warm and available. The short hike over the dunes to the broad beach is delightful. The parking of the trucks on the beach during the weekends in particular puts a damper on walking near the surf. One has to duck under multiple fishing poles and it feels like you're encroaching on multiple person's backyard walking near the surf. Beware of their dogs under the the trucks! We bumped into a large group of Jeeps touring the beach one weekend. Luckily the trucks only seem to be in large numbers during the weekend.

Very easy to access and the beautiful beach is close to the campsites just a short walk thru the Sand Dunes. The Showers and Bathrooms are very clean and well maintained. Public Dump station and water are just across the road at the Fishing Center. The park workers are very nice and willing to go out of their way to assist the campers. Definitely will be back to this campground when back in the area!

Beautiful campground. Views are magnificent. Bathhouses are very clean sites are a little snug for RVs. The walk to the beach is a workout but worth it!

The volunteer was the best, wish I could remember his name.

Beautiful beach with wonderful views of sound and inlet bridge. Sites are close together but some are nicely situated in the dunes.

Nice clean facilities. Rangers were friendly and welcoming. Only criticism is that the campsite is not well laid out. The only place to put the tent is the bottom of a Huge dune behind your car (not ideal for rain) or next to the picnic table which was a foot from the road. I placed an LED lantern in the corner of the tent because I was afraid we'd be run over in our sleep. Also there were homeless people camping out in a hammock across the walkway to the bathroom but they weren't causing any problems.
