I selected this campground because the website recreation.gov said that the showers in circle B were open. They were not.Great campground, great location but not so great when you cant shower.

We picked a fantastic campsite! Loved the open view looking towards the dune and seeing the moon rise each night. The location of the campground is nice, it's not on the main drag so it feels pretty remote. The new marina is VERY nice, stocked with most things you'll need. Very convenient to have the dump out station set up with gas pumps too! Having water and electric is a huge plus too! The campground was quiet, bathrooms mostly clean (a bit dated), and the outdoor showers were great! I love the breeze blowing in the shower stall, just adds to the beachy feel. We will definitely be back, and will try the off season.

Springtime camping at Oregon Inlet Campground is superb! My wife and I have a smaller size travel trailer which serves as our vacation home on long tours. The size allows us to camp at almost all sites. Our site had water and 30 amp electric. It was large and the surface where you parked was dead level asphalt. We escaped the colder weather of. The north east and welcomed the warmer breezy days and cool nights. The ocean was just a short walk from our campsite, where the beach was all to ourselves. Many surf fishermen drive their 4 wheel drive vehicles on the sand looking for the perfect location to try their luck. I cant comment on the shower facilities as the maintenance crew was in the process of de-winterizing them. The dump station is across the highway and access to it was being upgraded. We used a dump station at the welcome center on 64 in Manteo when we departed. Easy in, easy out. I cant imagine anyone not liking spring camping at Oregon Inlet Campground

Oregon Inlet Campground is our favorite OBX campground. The sites are large, as compared to other campgrounds in that area. The location is very convenient. There is a lot of road noise on the sites that are adjacent to the highway, but it is not too bad. Prefer the sites that are ocean side. It is a nice clean campground.

The bath house needs major improvements. There are no lights and the shower room is more or less open to the wind. The water was warm but the wind coming under the door was chilling.

Weather is always a challenge here. leave awnings in and be prepared for wind. Lot of stuff to do and see near by. swimming in surf can be risky check weather and rip current.

Great campground right next to the beach. Hook ups were newer. Came in after hours and had no problems. Went to bed listening to the waves!

There isnt much shelter from wind so just be prepared if wind is in the forecast

If bringing your dog you may want to have bootys for then because of the sand burrs and stickers , also a patio mat at your camper to help keep some of the sand out . I dont like to see change like the new marina building going up at Oregon Inlet though having a place to eat there will be nice however I hope the tiki bar dosent ruin the peacfullness of the area . I do like the board walk and the very comfortable benches that have been installed , makes a very nice place to sit and watch the sun set.

Oregon Inlet Campground is a very nice campground situated a short walk to the Atlantic Ocean. Nice level camp spots. Most are a little closer than we would like but manageable.

i go to oregon inlet campground often and i dont think ive every had a bad time...well not counting the weather..(lol) the campground is clean quiet and very well kept....

Beautiful location and friendly staff, we only stayed one night but are planning to go back. The dump station is across the street at the marina but was easy to find!
