Wonderful location. It would be nice to have some lighting in the shower houses though so that you did not have to shower in the middle of the day. Park Personnel checked with us because he heard of some electrical problems. We had no issues, but it was nice of him to check with us. We enjoyed our stay and the rates are fabulous for senior citizens.

Great campground, especially for the cost. Excellent location for visiting the Outer Banks sites.

The campground is well-maintained and the staff are friendly. The restrooms and showers are clean. It's very convenient to walk from the campsites to the beach using the marked trail. This campground is also very close to the Bodie Island lighthouse and the NH/KDH area for restaurants or groceries. It's definitely worth driving across the bridge to get a view of the inlet and beach from up high.We didn't go to the fishing center across the street, but it would certainly be convenient for a bite or resupplying. I also understand it's possible to launch a SUP or similar there to paddle around the sound side.

Parked van in electric spot overnight. Long walk to the beach, but worth it. Very quiet campground. Facilities were on the better end for other beach-side campgrounds.

Quiet and well maintenance campground. The staff is very friendly. There are some mosquitoes, but they tend to only come out in the afternoon.

Only some of the bathrooms were unlocked and the stalls had no toilet paper for two days while we were there. Didnt see the camp host and their camper had an off duty sign on it the whole time. There was a sign saying that the dumpsitw would re-open on Feb 9th which was clearly on the past and was nowhere near ready to reopen. Overall disappointing compared to our last visit.

Great quiet place to stay. Sky views are amazing and live the natural environment.

We enjoyed our time there. Even though we are not really beach goers. The campground is very open and has no trees so you are relatively close to your neighbors but it is a pretty mellow campground - specially when we went - late in September. You really can't hear the road and I think all sites are the same unless you want to be close to the facilities - which we were. The showers are unique. You have to hold unto a string to make the water flow but once it does you feel like you are under a waterfall. The facilities were relatively clean. No laundry or place to do your dishes. The beach is at a walking distance of all the sites and fun to visit early morning and evening. Restaurants at Nags Head are about a 15 - 20 minute drive and Kill Devil Grille is a must go place if you visit the area (sit at the bar if you are a couple). We never visited the restaurant across the street but we understand it is good.

Great site, windy with the sound of the ocean not far. People complain about the highway noise, but we did not think it bad. It's not a particularly busy road. Beautiful beach, beautiful sand dunes, respectful neighbors. Showers are warm, but exposed to the elements, so in Fall might be chilly. If you have dogs, be aware there are sand spurs, but, as of Nov 2023, they are not everywhere. We were able to walk our pooch without too much trouble. Free poop bags!

Beautiful, convenient location. Very clean bathrooms. Super nice people and campers. This was our third stay at Oregon Inlet Campground and just booked for spring as well. Close to beach ramp if you have a 4x4 and ORV permit to drive out onto the sand. Across the street from Oregon Inlet fishing center and close to Bodie Island lighthouse. Well laid out sites, easy to back our 29 foot rv onto paved site pad.

Oregon inlet was a great place. The only improvement would be sewer hookups. The campground is in an excellent location. The park hosts and ranger were friendly and helpful.

I would like for them to build 1 walkway from the campground to the beach. I know it is a long way but it would help getting things to the beach. Some people don't drive on the beach.

This is one of our favorite campgrounds. Close to Manteo, Corolla and Rodanthe. Also close to shopping. The beach is beautiful and the beach access is easy.

On the beach but a significant walk over the dunes. Watch for sand burrs, they are all over and painful to step on and they get all in your clothes. They camp grounds are well maintained and clean (showers and bathrooms).

We had a great stay at Oregon Inlet! The beach was beautiful and the ORV access was really convenient! The campground and facilities are clean, and I was pleasantly surprised to find the showers were warm! The staff were friendly and helpful, and we had no problems with our site or the water and power hook ups. If spending time on the beach, or fishing is your thing, I highly recommend this campground. The campground is far enough away from the busy Nags Head commercial area that you feel more immersed in the natural surroundings, while also being close enough that it's only a 15 minute drive to have access to restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping. We will definitely be going back to this campground!

Great campground with beach access. Park Rangers are always so friendly and a wealth of knowledge.

Campsites are large and all sites have no one behind you. Friendly helpful staff. Walk down to the ship wreck at the south part of the beach. Go north and check out Bodie Island Lighthouse.

Amazing campground! Very clean bathrooms and showers are warm. Hardly a walk and you're on the beach. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. We camped in our tesla and charged on 14-50 outlet with no issues. Some campgrounds question the electric car thing.
