Campsites are small. The area next to the paved parking is not very level so it was hard to set up the site. Worst of all, the grass near the site was full of goatheads, small sharp burrs that the dog picked up on her paws and fur. We had to remove all of those and keep her off the ground unless we carried her to the road. We also had to take our shoes off every time we went in the camper so as not to carry them inside. The bathhouse was clean enough. The dump station is up the road near the bridge. It looks like a two side access but one dump hole is cemented over so its really on a single.

Small campground right next to the ocean and Oregon inlet. Sites were tight to back in my 30 ft class A with the tow dolly onBathrooms were clean. Showers were pull the chain beach showers that we didnt try. Sand spurs were bad in our site #63 Great location for outer banks. Dump station across the street at Marina

We loved the beaches there,uncrowded in April.We visited Wright Bros museum, Chickamauga Life saving station .My husband fished and we visited Ocracoke and that was an enjoyable experience.

Normally love this campground, this year not so great... When I reserved my spot I indicated that we had two vehicles. My camper is only 24' long and my truck would not fit in the space when hooked to my truck. Unfortunately our spot was next to the host of the campground and we were told we could not park in the grass. Walking around the camp ground we saw many cars/trucks parked in the grass around their spots. Guess it's okay as long as you are not next to the host spot. Also our spot had no grass and was overgrown with sticker bushes. Stay away from the 40s in the B ring if possible.

My husband and I were looking for a last minute campground in the OBX and stumbled across this campground. I am SO happy we found this place. The location is convenient and absolutely beautiful-right on the beach. Everything went smoothly and everyone who was working there was nice and helpful. We dont live too far away, so we will definitely be planning many more trips here this summer. Our new favorite campground in the OBX!!

The addition of electric and water to sites is great, also warm showers. Good location to beach, driving or walking and back to local towns for supplies or dining.

Everyone was so nice here. It is an absolutely beautiful place with a beautiful beach. We are so blessed to have such wonderful places to camp.

Beautiful beach. Camping is near a busy road so best to get a site closer to the dunes. No shade or privacy but other campers are very respectful of everyone else.

Great weather, great site and fabulous access to the beach. Was there with my Airstream for Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. Everything exceeded my expectations. Great launch point for the area as well. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful park with access to miles of undeveloped coastline. We enjoyed early morning beach walks and a trip down to Ocracoke. Would definitely return!

Volunteer Chris at Oregon Inlet is very rude. She didnt offer to help at all with my situation. However, Patrick was very helpful and was able to resolve it when a little effort was put forth!

Staff was professional, helpful and friendly. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Great location on the ocean. Dump station is across the road at the marina. Some sites have electric and water and most all are level. Sites are narrow and your neighbor is close, but who cares? You are steps away from the Atlantic! Be careful for the sandspurs in the grass. Verizon coverage was great.

The hookup station was neat and all of them lit up. The curb in the spot seemed unnecessary. Didn't use the showers as they were pull chains and it would've been difficult with small children.

Really great excess to lovely beach and very clean bath houses but camp sites sit right on top of each other. Arrived late in evening and took a long time trying to back in trailer because the road is so narrow and all the vehicles sit right at edge.
